These places are a disappearing fast, not the biggest lover of pie and mash, although it has its place in our history of british cuisine, these places all tend to look the same and this place is no exception. tiles from floor to ceiling, old tables and chairs that have been patched up for donkeys years, still with decades of chewing gum stuck to the underside, but i suppose these places aren’t meant to be fine dining, they are basic food for working folk, although the food hasn’t changed the prices certainly have, although it is honest rib sticking food. Hey why not give it a go.
