Mamounia Lounge

Came here on a LivingSocial voucher — was quite nice, but the three course meal doesn’t come with rice or anything and they ask if you want to order it — however resist the temptation because you get a LOT of food. The chicken was delicious and my boyfriend really enjoyed the rose flavoured custard dessert thing. Yum.

Good mix of traditional and modern middle eastern dishes. Fancy décor. Good service. Have the Lobster Tagine.

Very attentive staff, a lovely ambiance (lighting and restaurant temperature). The cocktails were flavoursome but not especially strong (to the taste). There is a great selection of dishes.

I’m not a picky person when it comes to places I go to. So I never write negative reviews. When it comes to specific place I thought is was a total waste of time and not worth the mileage spent reaching it.
Shesha is so bad that I had to change it twice, thinking that was the problem but it turned to be that their flavors are kinda old and very dry to smoke. After few puffs I was smoking a totally different flavor than what I hoped for!
Service is below average, except if you are willing to pay the 100 quads tip, which will never happen, specially with their service level, they are not worth a quad ! Food came cold, asked them to change it, they simply heated my same plate so they ruined it and it came very dry like biscuit!
Bottom line, want a really good shesha a traditional one, good welcoming service that will not judge you on how much will you tip them and a polite service that will not make you feel humiliated, don’t think of going to this place.
You can always be in the safe side when it comes to shesha quality and simply go to Knightsbridge, it is full of nice shesha places with epic smoke!

The beautiful low level seating, adorned with scattered silk cushions, atmospheric lighting and delectable aromas can have very exciting effect on the nervous system.
The traditional Morrocan menu has a lot of variety to offer ranging from a fusion of European and North African cuisines to some Middle-​Eastern dishes. They have a very well stocked bar and the cocktail list is extensive which will be delight to any palate.
Although smoking has been banned in all restaurants, the Mamounia Lounge can still serve Shisha as it is cristal based and they have an outdoors barbeque to prepare it all.
