LV Lounge

We spent a month in this area and fell in love with LV. What an adorable, friendly place. Lots of regulars. Incredibly welcoming owner, Julia and bartender, robin. They made us feel so at home, always introducing us to regulars customers. Julia mixes a fabulous drink — be it a traditional like a manhattan or something fun and new. Even better, they will order you delivery from three fabulous local restaurants so no need to wait for a table at maguro for amazing sushi. We will miss these guys!

Nice little spot. Little is the operative word here. It’s tiny. But stylishly decorated with a black and white décor. It’s an interesting space for as small as it is. There are a couple of window seats, a small bar with stools, a couple of couchy-​table-​chair set-​ups in the back, and even a mezzanine with some additional seating. So with all these options, you can find the level of privacy or exposure you’d like.
The bartender was friendly and engaged in conversation with the others at the bar which made me think they were regulars or locals. But maybe they were just visiting like me and having a good time!
The coy fish in the aquarium behind the bar have grown really large for the size of aquarium. Their beautiful colors and fins swirl curvaceously in the tank and provide a mesmerising focal point if your conversation lags.
The Merlot we ordered was absolutely delicious. The kind of wine that while you’re talking and sipping, you stop to notice the texture and taste with delight. A bit pricey but appropriate for the setting. I’d be happy to go back. It’s the perfect ‘before-​or after’ place for a dinner or movie date.

This place is so strange to me. Like they redecorated a smokey little local pub to be posh and trendy and upscale. But the clientele is the same what’s been in the neighborhood since they were friggin born.
But I like it really. Friendly people, welcoming staff. I ordered something off menu and they looked it up and tried to make it for me. Not too shabby.
Oooh! Speaking of menu. You can order from the sushi place down the street and they deliver right to your bar stool. Oishii !!!

LV Lounge is a great local drinking spot in the Little Venice vicinity.
Full of locals, this classy hole-​in-​the-​wall is a great place to come for pre-​West End clubbery drinks or to spend the duration of the evening.
I love the décor at the LV Lounge — tasteful monochrome is the theme throughout the bar, with contrasting hints is always a hit with me. The over-​sized mirrors and decorative drinking glasses provide a warped sense of Alice In Wonderland style perspective while there… Especially after a few of their carefully crafted cocktails!
Service is always top-​notch here. I would say that this is the area that brings the majority of the repeat custom to this place. Friendly and welcoming, funny and sincere. Always fantastic.
The little kid in me is always awakened when I am on the lower level to this place… THEY HAVE OLD-​FASHIONED SWEETS DOWN THERE! Yup, Refreshers, Banana Skids, Love Hearts, Fizzers… It makes me want to go there right now, for that alone.
The LV Lounge has food delivery arrangements with local top-​notch restaurants. My preference is to have sushi delivered while supping a few drinks. What more can ask for?
So all in all, a fantastic, one-​of-​a-​kind Lounge Bar. Without a doubt, my favourite place of it’s kind in London.

I live just around the corner, so I wanted to take a look at this little place. Unfortunately, LV Lounge closes at 23:00, so if you’re going out for dinner outside Maida Vale, it’s very likely that when you return home, this place will be closed. I think that’s a pity, because it could perhaps be a nice place for a last stop on the way home. Anyway, one day when I was in the right mood, I actually was back in the area before it closed, so I gave it a chance.
It was kind of a weird experience. Besides me, there were four or five other people, most of them much older than me, and it seemed like they’re all regulars there. It was not really a welcoming atmosphere, I didn’t like the music too much, and I left soon after I finished my relatively expensive drink.
I hoped for a nice bar nearby, but it looks like I have to keep searching for this place for nowI guess LV Lounge is a nice place if you go there with friends. But I won’t go there alone again.

Was meeting a friend in Maida Vale and was very early and by chance I happened across this loverly bar.
WOW!
It looks fantastic, the staff made me feel at home and were extremely helpful. I had a couple of cocktails which were great and enjoyed my time that I was a little late in meeting my friend.
Next time I am in the area I will definitely have to arrange to meet people here.
