Personally I have never had an encounter with lidl but I cannot say that I would enjoy it it i did. I once walked past there was man peeing and it completely put me off and I decided that it must smell of smelly urine throughout the shop and therefore I will never venture inside. I do not want my meat to smell of piss thank you very much.

Not a fan especially as New Malden has a Waitrose. I have definetely tried with this palce but always fail. The occasional item is fantastic value chocolate –you can not buy beteer anywhere at any price and the bottled beer is very decent but a lot of the fresh stuff –fish –disgusting tasted salty and dried things such as imitation Pot Noodle went straigth in the bin –did not even taste it looked so bad.

A really handy addition to New Malden’s(fairly large) number of supermarkets. The main reason I go here is the VERY cheap fruit and veg. There are offers on each week & I’ve got Mangos, Avocados and Pomgegranates at vastly cheaper prices than in the other supermarkets. Each week they also have a new line of non food goods, all at reasonable prices. Want to cut the price of your weekly shop? Then go to Lidl!

A friend and I turned-up here expecting to be spoilt for choice with an awe-inspiring array of curtain fabrics. Finding Lidl in the place of the previously long-established fabric store took us completely by surprise We decided to go-in, hoping to track-down some info on the previous incumbents, and(in spite of the fact it was a curtain-free zone) we were impressed by the size, cleanliness and shopper-friendly layout of the store. Used to a considerably less spacious branch — closer to home — as soon as I walked-in here, I felt as if I had been transported across the Channel — there was an intangibly different(pleasant) smell that hit my nostrils — instantly making me feel as if I was shopping in the heart of the Euro-zone. True to their no-nonsense, fuss-free ethos the quality of the produce and decent prices were apparent, although the displays typically basic rather than tantalising. It was surprising though, how agreeable it was to wander around, easy to locate different sections and products.
