So my sister and I were searching for a place to eat lunch in Swiss Cottage and found Lahore Tikka House. We were the first customers since we were there exactly when it opened — 12pm. We both ordered a kebab roll each. Since they had literally just opened we were told it would be about a 20 minute wait for our food, and since we were in no rush I thought this was fine. However we ended up waiting about 45 minutes for our food! Now when I’ve ordered a kebab roll at other Asian food restaurants, I have always been asked if I want salad or sauce on my kebab roll. This was not done here, and I was presented with a kebab roll with everything. Though I admit this was a mistake on my part as I should have told the man, I wanted mine without salad. So I went back to him, apologised and asked him to make me another without salad. He kept telling me to just scrape off the salad and eat it. Now I realise I caused some hassle but that is not an excuse to treat me in a rude manner, especially since I waited almost an hour for something I don’t want to eat. Then he begrudgingly took back my plate and about 5 seconds later plonked(what was supposedly) another kebab roll. Yet this kebab was stone cold and there were still bits of salad in it. I think he just scraped off the salad from my old one and handed it back, even though I asked for a new one! And to top the whole miserable experience off, I heard him ask every single other customer who came in if they wanted salad or sauce! I had a really horrible time and money wasting experience here, utterly disappointing. This one staff member had a very rude attitude.
