We ordered pizza and pasta. Pizza were not bad but pasta was simply amazing. Tasteful and delicious!

Pork, I missed you! I haven’t eaten pork in about 5 years due to a very bad bacon experience once… but since watching the Sopranos’ I’ve been mesmerized by how much parma ham etc Tony Soprano eats so I thought I;d give the americano pizza a try, spicy sausage and jalapenos! lovely! I wolfed it down! the banoffee pie was ok, slightly disappointing, too much cream and not enough toffee and banana! Good overall! good service too!

Pleasantly surprised, a much better than average stone-fired pizza place. I had the calamari. Far from the typical deep-fried pre-frozen rings, these were flash-fried whole segments of squid(hood and tentacles), not breaded at all, with some tasty sauce and greens. Very fresh, and so rich I was glad we shared a single serving as a starter. It was about £6.50 I think. We each had pizzas: very thin, well-cooked, and tasty. Pepperoni, olives and spinach for me. Well-presented t the table, even, on thick wooden blocks. Pizzas were all between £8 and £10. Service was very good. They had three different Italian beers. Much of the restaurant is narrow, with servers rushing behind you. The only part that feels like it has a relaxed atmosphere or a bit of breathing space is right up by the window. The only real downside, I felt, was the wine list: short, pricey, and only one(not very good) type of each available by the glass. They deliver.

I was told by my friend that La Cantina is one of the better Italian restaurants in Ealing. My friend always keeps a stock of delivery menus including La Cantina so when I visited her last month we ordered in a Pizza. They have about 20 or 30 different varieties to choose from. The prices range from 8.00 to 10.00 pounds. We actually chose their top pizza which is called La Cantina and comes with parma ham and Parmesan. We decided to try the special 20″ and share it 15.90. It was great! Nice crispy base, very fresh ingredients and well, huge. We opened a bottle of Italian Pino Grigio from the fridge and had a wonderful night, thanks to La Cantina and my friends great company.
