Somehow I’ve completely missed reviewing this place. This is my local curry house. Granted Blackheath has no less than four at any given time, but this is the often go to choice for us.
A few years ago, a friend stayed with us and we took him here. He lived in India for a bit and not pleased with the items on the menu, asked for an off menu dish — butter chicken. The waiter said they could definitely make it as it is what they normally make for the staff after hours. This opened our world to the loveliness of butter chicken, which is now my favourite dish at Khans.
The choices are plentiful and all of it is very good. The service is very good and they are quite attentive. I am even tempted to give an extra star simply because when service a pint of beer to myself and brother-​in-​law, the waiter got mine safely in my hands and spilled the BIL pint all down his back. Classic!
Anyway, a great place to get an Indian in the village!

I love this restaurant!
Slightly on the more expensive side but well worth it.
They serve a dish called ’ Lamb Green’ which has a lovely minty taste.
Their vegetable dishes are really tasty as well.

The service is good and are quite attentative,
For starters we had king prawn purée, very tasty with a hint of spice and it’s a portion size that you could share between 2.
My friend had the chicken chilli masala (nepalese spices with green chilli) and i had lamb capsilla (cooked with sweet, sour and hot nepalese style sauce) The curries were flavorsome and not swimming in cooking oil like how other Indian restaurants usually make them, but is a tad more pricey none the less it’s still worth a visit.

Definitely the best Indian in Blackheath (of which there are many!), I’ve never had a bad dish if you are up for trying some thing new then definitely give one of the chef’s recommended dishes a go there are lots of new and exciting things to try. But they do all the classics very well (kormas, jalfriezis etc) and it’s got a lovely atmosphere in there too. If you aren’t in the mood to head out of the house dial in as they’re takeaway is brilliant alwasy arrives hot and doesn’t take long to arrive!
