Came here for the hot chocolate advertised on their board. This is a small bi-​level café with seating downstairs. Barista mentioned the place had been open for about 3 weeks.
This is a place that prides itself on organic and ethically sourced chocolate and customizable hot chocolate. Several flavors including caramelicious, masala mojo (chai), cinnamon rose, chili con choccy, quite white and raspberry dream. Option of almond milk at 15p extra. Topping options include regular whipped cream, coconut whipped cream and mini marshmallows.
I went for the raspberry dream. The texture wasn’t rich and thick like drinking chocolate, but much lighter and almost not sweet enough. I couldn’t taste the raspberry in the hot chocolate. I was a fan of the coconut whipped cream, however, which was unique and added a yummy touch.
These guys sell a selection of chocolatey baked goods as well as their brand of drinking chocolate in house.
