Well, portion size in relation to pricing might be ok for London standards but the food is for sure not what Jamie’s name deserves. He probably does not know what they serve here. I know Italian food from Italy but this was not Italian at all. Squid was tasteless rubber and the pecorino cheese tasteless cardboard. Pastas however were good, so the waiter very friendly.

Food was ok. I had carbonara pasta and my wife had gnocchi pesto. The gnocchi was ok but boring. Mine was good enough. Pasta type was awkward to eat. And in Jamie fashion went pretty lame on the pancetta(it was a single very small and very thin slice of streaky bacon). It was more of a garnish and not part of the dish and very difficult to cut and eat. The service was fine but uneventful. Nothing bad just not great. The ambiance was alright. A bit manufactured but nicely done considering. Overall I didn’t hate it. I didn’t love it either.

Service was really slow and the portions were tiny. £5 for bruschetta and it was one tiny slice of bread with one tomato and a tiny bit of cheese! Squid ink pasta was also barely more than a few spoonfuls. Where is the value Jamie?! Italians should leave you full but we left hungry

Long wait to be seated. Slow and terrible service. Food was way too salty and everything was drowned in olive oil. Some starters are ridiculously overpriced and definitely not worth the money. Never coming here again. Very disappointed.

Westfield at Stratford has a good choice of chain restaurants to choose from, but yesterday we chose the reliability of Jamie’s and we weren’t disappointed. There were a few quirks, including but not limited to: — Our waitress who spoke in Mariah-esque tones which sent the local canine population wild — Me nearly choking to death on some chilli dust I accidentally inhaled eating a slightly disappointing pork scratching — Serious pudding regret after ordering the pavlova rather than the brownie! The main courses were all delicious and the service was friendly and efficient. I do like how at Jamie’s if you can’t pick between two main courses, you can have small portions of each. I chose a delicious gnocchi with pesto and pine nuts and a squid ink spaghetti with mussels and both were great. Including tip and a few soft drinks, 5 people eating mains and desserts cost £120 so it was ‘fairly’ reasonable. Like my friend Arnold says, «I’ll be back»

Went there for lunch(fir a break from shopping at Westfield). Food: okay but wouldn’t give it a five star rating. Less paprika on the fries and get your polenta chips to look like chips and be entirely cooked. Waiter: now, here was the surprise! I didn’t expect a trained and knowledgeable waiter here! Mario was brilliant! If the food had been to it’s standard, i would have given a top rating with no hesitation! In addition to great waitressing skills and in depth menu knowledge, he has the skills of a ninja! I have no idea when the mustard i asked for appeared on the table! Will I go there again? I’m not 100% sure, i have not been amazed by the food but it’s not a place that i would put in the«don’t go to» basket
