J R Cycles

I went to JR Cycles with my new Sun Bike from Miami, Florida which needed front brake adjustment by the time i arrived I had somehow managed to get a puncture which was repaired by Robert in 15 mins and brakes adjusted by Chris. This is not your large uptown cycle shop with a 1000 sq ft of stock but they have fantastic customer service which has ensured that I will be a regular customer in the future. They are also an authorised Giant dealership which is great as I have a Giant TCR1 road bike for when speed is essential… Great little gem!

Took my bike in for a well overdue service. The staff, older gentlemen, certainly know there stuff as they were quick to identify what issues it might have. Being the rider if the bike I thought only I knew!!!
The price for the basic service is well priced and does what it says on the tin. They have a range of services available which cover different aspects. They assured me if it needed further work they would contact me before undertaking the work.
The shop has a good range of bikes, children’s, teens and adults. They also stick the usual array of cycling clothing.
The real plus side to this shop is its location just a 30sec walk from Norwood junction station so if you commute to work via Norwood junction it is way to drop off and collect your bike.
The only downside was they lost my number so I had to go back to the shop to see if my bike was ready, which it was so no biggy!
So all in all they do provide a quality service (minor hick up aside) and I shall be using them again in the near future that I am sure of. I would have given them 4 stars but they did misplace my number ;)
So if you are in the area or thinking about getting a bike/​servicing your existing ride hop off the train and give them a go.
