OMG! Treated myself to an aquamarine cocktail ring as a special treat for being alone this Valentine’s day, very naughty but it is amazingly nice, even better than it looked on the website and I couldn’t quite believe how enormous it was, but it looks really twinkly, and I really like having a proper piece of jewellery as I have bags of costume jewellery already which looks really rubbish by comparison now!.So now planning on selling some of it on eBay and buy myself another proper grown up piece instead. Get loads of comments on it, even from the blokes at work which is saying something, but then it’s a fairly impressive rock! Of course I let them think I have a stonkingy rich admirer ;o)
I’ve looked in shop windows and realised it was really incredibly good value to be fair, and about 10 times the size of anything you’d get from high street jewellers. Definitely worth it.
