Top-notch middle-east cuisine!!! I had great expectations about this place, and definitely it was worth to try their food. I tried a kind of marinated beef that was outstanding, the lamb chops and falafel(superb!). Of course, I also tried an outstanding desert! The food was excellent. Perfectly cooked! But there were a couple of things that I want to point out(and hopefully it will be help for the owner/manager/staff). First, the lamb chops were perfectly cooked. However, the meat was a little bit hard. In other words, the lamb was not tender enough. I am not saying it was bad lamb or that it was super hard. I just was expecting it to be more tender. Second, I truly appreciate that the staff was very nice, smiling all the time and super friendly. However, I tried to call their attention twice, and I took me a while, since the waitresses were chatting with some friends, or talking among themselves(for instance, I was holding a plate for a while waiting for someone to take it; note that the tables are tiny, so an extra plate on the table is a pain in the back). Again, they were friendly and helpful, but I think they should keep an eye on customers first. Overall, excellent experience. By they way, the decoration is beautiful! Regarding prices: not cheap, but not crazy expensive.

My Friend introduced me to this place and their brunch is inspired by middle eastern cuisine. Love their shabshukas which offer more of a kick that your usual tame breakfasts, and they cook everything to perfection. If there’s one thing you should come here for, it’s the cheesecake, which is a little expensive, but completely instagrammable due to its unique look and when you bite into it, there you’ll discover the perfect blend of sweet and salty and you’ll mouthgasm your way to heaven. Yes yes and yes again!

Amazing cheesecake with kaidaf pastry and greek thyme honey. Probably one of the best dessert in London I have ever tried! The cream is rich not over sweet. I wish there were more of the pastry as there was a huge dope of cheese above it. Need more to balance out the richness from the cream. Also a hint of thyme really differs this one to any other kind of cheesecake

I had heard some good things about Honey and Co and gave it a try over the Christmas period. The venue is close to Warren Street tube(as the address would suggest) and is essentially a small café. We had a reservation which was handy because we would not have got in without it. The food was top quality, I would recommend going for a set menu which allows you to try the mezze, that was the best part of the meal. The Christmas set menu came in at £26.50 per person without dessert. Well worth a trip.

Went here on the rave recommendation of a dear friend. While a bit cramped in this cozy restaurant, the food was so amazing we didn’t mind. We ordered the Meze. The food was spiced to perfection. It’s excellent, without at all being snooty. The Charming Israeli chef/couple that own/run the place greeted the diners. We also found the dessert(a sticky bun) to be sumptuaous. Book ahead because it’s that good.

It took ages to get a booking but it was well worth the wait. The staff were friendly and attentive and they thoughtfully explained the menu. We chose to go with the«tasting menu» that came with a family style selection of mezze and a choice of main courses. There were four of us and we each chose a different entrée and all were awesome! Try the prawns if they are on the menu as they were perfectly cooked, delicate, yet flavorful. The cold cheesecake for dessert lives up to the hype and a must-get!

All I can say is– wow. I read about this place being a top notch Mediterranean breakfast joint and I’m more than impressed. The shashouka was just the right level of savory, spicy, and tangy. With a warm piece of bread on the side, the dish truly made my morning.

Ok, I admit. If I am welcomed at a venue by a BIGBIG smile of a staff it biases me towards a 5 star review really easily. But man… Honey & Co. made me rethink what I call a big smile! However, to the point — you can’t go wrong with this place. It was FULLY booked 2 weeks ahead when me and my friends visited it. The only way to taste their food was to sit outside which we eagerly did. And I would do so again even during a winter of the century! Not being very hungry(and frankly — on a budget after 2 days in London) we did not go with an excellent £26/p.p. option of «a little bit of this, a little bit of that» which allows you to get some of all of their starters for share AND a main course for everybody. We(4 guys) settled on getting figs and falafel for starters and quails(x2), lamb meatballs and a chicken wrap with pomegranate. Oh yeah, when we were still trying to figure out what to order — a man walked out of the venue so we asked him about a recommendation. ‘Everything is excellent.’ was his response. You can imagine that we waited anxiously after such promise. Fortunately, this was not one of the«some that he’s broken»(thank you Mr. Sting) and soon we were served meals that I would call exceptional. They were simple. They were not«overdone». They were just perfectly fitting this little, cosy spot. Writing about taste is like dancing about architecture(thank you Mr. Zappa) so try it for yourself, you won’t regret it. And thanks to the owner(?), a heart-warming lady, I felt like the most important guest in their restaurant when talking to her. Well, if it’s a job of a restaurant to amaze me — they’ve done it. Thank you, if I’m ever back in London, I’ll visit you Honey & Co. P. S. You could have chosen a better beer for you offer though. :)

Tiny little restaurant with great food, great service, and great atmosphere. Able to book for groups and have a reasonably priced set menu. The shared starters are absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

This is a lovely little spot. Other reviews have called it unpretentious and, at the risk of repetition: it’s a lovely little unpretentious spot. A lovely little unpretentious spot *serving up high levels of deliciousness*. I’ve never been her for dinner, so can’t comment on the larger mains. More typical for me is a pop-by on Warren Street to pick up a baked good or 3. The chocolatey rich babka, sweet and yeasty. The orange blossom honey cake. The chock-full-of-poppy seed loaf. The cold cheesecake which is the much-talked-about dessert with delicious, deserved reason. Yesterday I stopped in for the most perfect little strawberry financier: made from almond meal and a tiny little spot of strawberry jam, and sporting a perfect berry hat… this was a winner, and a reminder that I’m still(deludedly!) clinging to summer. The space is small, but that adds to the warm vibe. Staff wonderful, limited — but excellent — range of options for breakfast and lunch(as mentioned: have not been here for dinner). Fresh juices. Friendly vibe. Yes, yes yes. Unilocal note: Honey & Co cookbook on sale, too! As well as a shelf right when you come in with some preserves and granola and other things if you want to bring Honey & Co home with you…

It’s a small place and I have tried several time to book a table and no luck. Decided to come at 5:30 and they gave me a table that was booked for 6:30. Everything is delicious. Dessert is a must here. Be sure to save room for it.

I’m into this place. Tiny, so hard to get a table. I had tried booking many times and it is a hard place to just rock up because it is so small. Come hungry. The meze is awesome – such a treat to try all the different things. They mix the menu up by month but the lamb salad was delicious and the dumpling soup was incredible. I would eat the tahini ice cream cookie sandwich any day of the week. It was amazing. Ottolenghi taught his staff well.

Came for lunch and got the lunch special — selected mains and appetisers for the table for about £15. Great value. Got the falafel and the lamb as main dishes and both were great. Service was not bad. Place is tiny and tables are cramped but was still a pleasant experience overall.

This restaurant is my favourite in London for brunch. It’s so unique and different. The first time I came here I ordered the Sabich, which is basically a friend egg and aubergine. This was bursting with so much flavour! I can’t even describe it — it’s definitely something I strongly recommend. The next time I got poached legbar eggs in yogurt. This was also good but there could be more bread! Strongly recommend! Wish it wasn’t so expensive, but it’s a great place to treat yourself.

Lovely family run restaurant — small and friendly with some very interesting and tasty food. Home made specialties are on the menu and they also have their own cookbook and cakes to buy on the go. Not the biggest portions or cheapest food but lovely flavours and unique options. Must book in advance due to popularity. I was particularly wowed by the lemon pudding I had(pic attached) which was delicious, with great texture and so so more-ish.

We don’t get this anywhere in the U.S. This was just eye-openingly delicious. We came for breakfast and were so impressed by the wonderful flavors of cardamon, pistachios, fresh tahini, sweet sundried tomatoes… Favorites? — sticky pistachio pastry — sundried tomato tart — cold cheesecake(sorry, NYC’s Juniors, this is now my fave) — yogurt with fruit and cereal We arrived early around 8:15 and were promptly seated and served — no line.

Went to a birthday party here where the whole restaurant was booked(not too difficult as the place only holds approx 20 – 25 people) its a quaint little place with a little bar at the back. The girls serving were all really good and friendly, the food came out well and they managed to make sure that every one got their pre-ordered meal! Drinks were kept well topped up through out the night. The food was all good a selection of starters to share that included bread with oil, falafels, pickled carrot(my favourite), melon and feta, aubergines and humus to name a few. A small criticism might be that there was actually too many starters as I strugged to get through my whole main(dont normally complain about too much food but felt it just ruined my main that I would have liked to have finished) I had the lamb Shawarma, can’t remember if I have had this meal anywhere else but it was good! Well seasoned and a decent portion(if I had less starters!) Of the other 4 mains on offer one other was lamb and there was a fish dish and a beef selection. All were well received although I heard mixed reviews on the fish. I managed to get a few mouthfuls of the beef which was good but would have seen me a little bit bored of eating the same thing if I had chosen it. So it all seems good! ! Why not 4 *??? Just a few minor things: The AC was broken and packed out the place got very warm. There is only one shared toilet which with 25 people sharing it required some strategic planning to not end up quing for too long. Lastly you can see into the kitchen from the bathroom area, its not unhygienic and I appreciate its a working kitchen but I would have liked to seen it a bit cleaner and tidy. It seemed a litrle pricey but we did a split bill and I cant be sure that bsome people ordered more drinks, so I would definitely eat here again if I was in the area.

This is a cracking little place to visit. I work at Pall Mall Barbers around the corner from them and try to pop in her for breakfast. They do a salted milk bun with jam,(posh jam on toast) that tastes great. The orange juice is freshly squeezed and the coffee tastes great to. I personally live to go somewhere with a bit of character like this rather than a Pret or Costa where your just a number. 10⁄10

Amazing food and drinks highly recommended. We had the lunch time set menu and found it to be alot of food(and im pregnant) thought it was reasonable for 15. Lovely iced teas and cakes are amazing! Lemon drizzle is my favourite. They also have outside seating so if you love people watching like me it’s the perfect place. Its very small inside max 10 tables so book in advance!

I guess it’s time to update my review about Honey & Co and up my rating from 4 to 5 stars! Why? — They’ve delivered a more than solid performance over the last year and every time I come back, I get surprised yet again by their amazing food offerings. Just this morning I paid Honey & Co a visit and I was — as usual — greeted with a bright smile by Rachel: «Hi Uli! How are you?» Now, this is what I call amazing atmosphere and great«customer retention»: there’s only a handful shops in London, where people greet me with my name… but this is he most important reason for me to come back. Now, as I mentioned above, the food here at Honey & Co is also fantastic and I’ve yet have to eat something I didn’t like. This morning, for example, I ate a lahme(some kind of Israeli breakfast pizza) accompanied by cardamom coffee. None of these I picked myself, but were recommended to me by Rachel: I simply don’t like making decisions, so I am always happy for suggestions. All in all: both thumbs up! I love coming here! Note: it’s almost impossible to make spontaneous dinner reservations and also the lunch spots are filling up way too quickly these days. I highly recommend swinging by for a delicious breakfast, though, as it is still quite peaceful and you will be able to read a newspaper or engage in a little chitchat with the staff.
