One of the best Japanese restaurants I’ve been to. Lovely sweet lemon and honey tea to start — perfect for my sore throat. We each chose the bento box option as it seemed the best value. Flavoursome miso soup, and the contents of the bento itself was well seasoned and beautifully presented. We also shared some exquisite tuna avocado sushi. Staff were patient and courteous(we took a while deciding what to order). It’s not the cheapest sushi, but it’s very popular with the locals, and with such delicious flavours served in a relaxed setting, I can see why. I can’t wait to return and try a wider selection!

As evidenced by my gastronomic tours of Europe and USA, I’m prepared to travel for good food. However, sometimes, it’s also nice to have some favourite local places tucked up your sleeve My sister took me to Hashi for sushi. She had gone there with a friend and enjoyed it Parking in this area of Raynes Park can be tight but you can find something in the local residential streets. There is a funky delivery van outside the restaurant, which helps one to find it There’s a bit of fun at the start of the meal when water is poured onto 2 small tablets, which grow into warm hand towels. Nice The food was all nice and I appreciated the variety in the menu. We had lotus root chips, deep fried oysters, miso black cod, otoro sashimi, Hashi special roll and miso soup. We finished the meal with red bean mochi and we received some complementary orange to end A nice neighbourhood Japanese restaurant but only 4 stars due to the price

Firstly, a delicious dinner so i will definitely be visiting this place again. Also they have magic cloths to wash your hands before you eat! They placed two small white tablet like objects on a dish in front of us, and then poured boiling water on them… and before i knew it, i had a lovely warm hand towel. Pretty special i thought. Karaage, agedashi nasu, oden & yasai tempura… oh my. Oishii. A very nice menu, with a few Korean dishes in there too. The décor is rather smart indeed, very friendly staff and a lovely big golden Maneki Neko. Yes, this did satisfy my japanese cravings!

My wife, kids, mate and his wife went there on my recommendation from readng a review. We all were pleasantly surprise how good the sushi is at Hashi. This is the first time we have had good sushi since arriving in England. Well done. I would definately be back and bringing more friends.

My partner and I visited Hashi on New Years Eve. We found the staff to be incredibly friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, both beautiful in taste as well as in presentation. The attention to detail in everything from the initial warm welcome we hadto when we left was infallible. Price per head for starter, miso soup, main and dessert each, excl wine was approx £25.(We brought our own wine which they chilled and served for us). The atmosphere of the restaurant is relaxing, and you feel as though you have left London. The menu is very extensive at a variety of prices so there is definitely something to suit every person, occasion and appetite.

A dream come true! Hashi has raised the bar Fresh-from-the-sea sashimi and sushi as well as a range of hard-to-find dishes such as shabu shabu, served in a modern setting by attentive staff, at a local restaurant with parking outside. They offer house wine and you can BYO. As I said: a dream come true! Have been back. Exceptionally good food and service. This could be addictive can’t wait to go back.
