Now I may not have a child, but I have nieces so that allows me the great pleasure of shopping for little people! So I have to buy my two little ladies Christmas presents, and strolling past this cute little shop in Angel, I popped in to get them something. Organic cotton, gorgeous designs and not über-expensive? Sounds like my kind of place. The staff were really helpful in helping me pick out a couple of tees and dresses, which, fingers crossed, my nieces will love.

Green Baby is about being green. The company was founded back in 1999 when the whole environmental agenda was still kind of ignored. They have a good range of organic cotton clothes for babies and they have also added to their collection baby skin care products. Again, organic ones. Many people always ask: Why is sustainable fashion so expensive?, I think the correct question is: Why is high street fashion so cheap? With this in mind here you can get a pyjama for £12 in Mothercare you can get three for this price. I know in the past I have mentioned how quickly they leave their clothes behind, but I think it is worth having minus two pj’s if it signifies helping the environment and in turn ourselves. Green baby’s staff is here to really help, I bought their ‘Chest Rub Gel’(on their recommendation) to help clear congested chest and aid regular breating. That night it worked its magic on Maya and myself.
