Grand Junction Arms

Sommer in London bei herrlichem Wetter (true story!) mit der besten Freundin:
Was gibt es da Besseres, als den Abend bei einem leckeren Strawberry & Lime Cider auf einer Pub-​Terrasse ausklingen zu lassen? Richtig: Nix. Ausser vielleicht die grünbraune Pfütze, auf die man von der Terrasse blickt. ja, die könnte etwas schöner sein.
Da ich nur an diesem einen Sommerabend im Pub war, kann ich auch nur diesen einen Moment beurteilen. Die Drinks waren toll, die Snacks (Nachos, Pommes und frittierte Sweet Potatoes) sahen yummy aus und schmeckten offensichtlich auch meinen Mit-​Geniessern.

I know this pub cuz I work nearby and there is pretty much nothing else around.
It is alright for an afterwork beer and it is quite cosy. Sometimes there are some weird people around but other than that staff is friendly, prices are reasonable and there is nothing to complain about.
In the summer it is really nice to sit outside and it’s probably an even better experience.

Hidden in the nether regions of industrial North West London is this little treasure of a pub. On entry it seems like just another anonymous boozer, but enter the garden to discover the secret to this pub.
What opens up is a sprawling three part beer garden. Decking with plentiful benches overlook a canal, extending into the garden where there is loads more seating. Its great in summer, with a buzz to match. Take a jaunt down the steps and you will find further benches, hidden away on the canal path for a more tranquil drink.
If beer gardens are your thing, you will enjoy this pub. Nothing fancy but nice views and plenty of space make for a pleasant surprise. Just don’t expect much from the food.
