Horrible Caesar salad with literally lettuce and NOT chicken breast(chicken breast doesn’t have ligaments) , IFYOUSTILLWANNAGOAVOIDTHISSALAD !!! the only reason this shop survive it s because of it s touristic location.

Food was really rather splendid and only a couple pounds more more expensive than the area suggests. Service was good(eg. left alone when needed) but I was in quite an accepting mood(overly«friendly»). Décor is not that great — it’s almost like a «posh» greasy spoon.

A great spot for breakfast. Love the porridge with berries very filling and delicious. Their coffee and cheesecake and most of their pastry is good. However the service is slow and sometimes the staff is rude.

Terrible service. They did not asked for the type of tea we wanted and they got upset when we asked to replace what they brought. Table was not clean. Waiters were fighting over a bill with loud voices next to us. Do not come.

My cousins and I had afternoon tea here after shopping at Harrods. I had high expectations for this place because it’s so close to Harrods. The food itself was just so so. I liked the sweets but did not find the savories to be very good. I also found a hair in my smoked salmon– that totally put me off. Shouldn’t the waiters or cooks be doing spot checks? Yuck. Unfortunately, the service was terrible! Our waiter would forget our requests and take a very long time. This must have been one of the worst places in terms of service I have ever been to. They were insanely short staffed and simple things like a pot of tea would take 30 minutes! I would NOT come here again. There are plenty of other choices nearby that looked far better.

Come here for the people watching, but not the food or the service. Waited 50 minutes for our food. Then another long wait while we got our bill. The only reason this place survives is because it’s next door to Harrods. Go to the other Café, Café Rouge if you are hungry or thirsty, it’s much better!!! Rich people obviously don’t take to smiles as I don’t think our waitress cracked one the age we were there.

It was just around the corner from our hotel and after a night out… we needed some place close by! The places seems to be buzzing all the time, but we didn’t have a problem getting a table. The pastries on the counter looked amazing! Our service was pretty good… they weren’t overly friendly, but they were efficient and attentive! I had trouble deciding what I wanted, but ended up with the Eggs Florentine. Work BFF had the Mushrooms and Scrambled Eggs, Work BFF’s sister had the Eggs Benedict, and Work BFF’s sister’s friend :) had the two eggs, steaky bacon, and a side of fries(it was 12 p.m.). The streaky bacon was amazing although they sure included a lot of bacon! Work BFF’s sister asked me if my dish was cold, but mine was warm, in fact the eggs were still hot when I cut into them. Unfortunately hers was completely cold! I loved mine, but I wished 1) I had asked for brown bread as the brioche was a bit sweet for the dish and 2) that they didn’t have a salad on the plate… they already had loads of spinach on the toast under the eggs… I didn’t need anymore greens. Other than that, it was lovely! It was a bit on the expensive side, however being right next door to Harrod’s… I kind of expected that.

A great location for a café, being across from Harrods. However, everything was mediocre and the service was so-so. The value just wasn’t there. It’s probably always packed because it’s across from Harrods.
