Absolutely lovely bags in the sea of crap thta is Camden High Street. I’ve taken mine through London, NYC, and even the Sahara Desert, and it is holding up splendidly.
When I expressed a desire for a light weight bag (I have another leather bag which is far too heavy) the owner kindly brought out a scale and weighed each of the bags of the model I was interested in.
Great products, excellent customer service, and wonderful experience all around. I look forward to using my Gohil bag for years to come.

Gohills operators would have to be two of the rudest people. Not only could they not be bothered to listen to my request but couldn’t wait to say no to everything that I proposed. Never set foot in this establishment as you might like the leather however the service is appalling!

I LOVE this place. Simple, beautiful handmade leather bags and belts made right there in the shop. Also, Gohil himself is always in the store and super friendly. Will help you try all sorts of things and tell you how he’s made them. Really, the opposite of all the other kitcsh you find in Camden Market. Worth the trip just to go to Gohil’s.

The Gohils Leather Goods shop is really quite unique and a dying breed — a tanner, effectively, a place where Leather bags, belts, etc are designed and made on the premises. This man is the villain to Cows, the hero to the middle class/​wealthy individual. The shop has the natural yet beautiful stench of leather, and the people behind the counter are affable yet are strenuous, meticulous and determined workers (watching them fold and cut leather while people wait, who will be paying alot of money for it, is quite something) so if you’re a bit flush and you want to treat yourself or get a truly authentic gift. come here.
