Glow

I go here all the time and I always ask myself why, but it’s clearly because of the shape. The woman, whose name I’m afraid I don’t know, creates a perfect eyebrow that leaves you feeling like you’ve had a make-​over/​face-​lift! People often comment after I’ve paid a visit saying I look well, or that they notice something different but can’t quite work out what it is. It’s the perfect pick-​me-​up and you need only go no more than once a month.
However, it certainly has its price. This is not a dignified nor enjoyable experience! You have to sit on a dentist-​like chair in the middle of Debenhams make-​up section whilst a lady pulls out your eyebrow hair with a piece of thread she holds between her teeth. Any passers-​by are free to gawk, and gawk they do. Some people even have their moustache pulled out (a little too much I’d say, especially in public, although fair play to them!).
And the pain — oh dear god it hurts, especially if you have «strong» eyebrows like me according to the threader (you had better wish you haven’t!). You are instructed to pull at your eyes in certain ways to make the area more taut and therefore less painful, but I defy your eyes not to water!
But, as I said before, it’s worth it. I’ve tried plucking, waxing, even the Benefit brow bar, and none has been as good as this. I could not recommend threading more, and this is my favourite place to do it.
