I got off my bus in Newington Green and had had such a great day that I wanted to treat myself with fresh flowers. There isn’t a lot of selection in that area, but I had seen Gingerlily and decided to check it out. I am so glad that I went into the little flower shop. The shop was decorated for Christmas and smelled of fresh flowers, I love that scent. I also found an ornament, a beautiful snow flake, which was a bonus. After looking around I found a bouquet of purple flowers and couldn’t resist. I love fresh cut flowers and the owner’s arrangements are brilliant, plus she’s very friendly and we chatted for a bit while she rang up my purchases.
The shop also sells cards, not a very large selection but a large enough selection where you can find a card to go with the flowers you just purchased. I saw several other floral arrangements I liked but decided I couldn’t leave the store with everything and happily left with my flowers and snowflake.
