I’m from New York, and made the inexplicable error of ordering a pizza in this restaurant. Frankly, nothing else on the menu appealed to me, and I was very hungry. What I got was soft, thin disk of under-cooked dough, splattered with some marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese. Quite possibly the worst«pizza» I have ever had. The service was just okay(the waitresses hardly spoke any English), and to add insult to injury, there was a «service charge» added on to the bill, which was quite pricey to begin with.

A bit surprised by the other reviews. My son and I very much enjoyed our meal here and found the service to excellent. A bit pricey for a chain restaurant, but it was well decorated and the food was at least average. I loved my wrap and although we had not intended to eat here, I would return.

The breakfast here is fantastic! And free refills on lattes, cappuccinos too!

Absolutely awful. I believed the sign on the door that said«best fish and chips in London» The fish was served with the skin still on and with a really terrible coating. I asked the waitress to ask the cook why he left the skin on. She checked with him and said he «did what he was told to do» A real disappointment for our last dinner in London! Stay away!!!

We ended up there on our first night in London just because we were hungry and the places we wanted to go to were overbooked. The menu looked reasonable. The food was absolutely horrid. Unfortunately we did not read the previous reviews. My husband actually returned his hamburger which looked microwaved vs. grilled and tasted even worse. Service was not bad, but it did not compensate for the quality of food NEVER again !!!

Yeah, I have to say that this wasn’t the best food we ate on our trip to London — in fact, it was the worst for the money. We saw many of these chains in the area, and finally decided to take a seat and order some traditional American food. Wow, by the quality of the meal(dry chicken, tepid sink water, and poor service), is THAT the impression they have of «Traditional American» food? Really? I’ve had better meals at the local Denny’s(which we all know isn’t the«finest» dining, but certainly better than Garfunkel’s). There are far better establishments to go and dine. Run, don’t walk, away from this place. The only saving grace is that in London, a «tip» isn’t generally expected, so that part was commensurate with the meal… a zero. The restaurant wasn’t well lit, so it was difficult to determine it’s cleanliness. The staff seemed to forget about us. I had to flag down a waitress to pay our bill — twice. Unsure about the other dishes, but the chicken club was better without the chicken. One thing I know for sure as we departed was that we wouldn’t be coming back…

We went there just before doing a bit of christmass shopping, and it was awefull, the waitress knocked my drink over as she brought it over, and then it took over 15 mins for it to be cleared up, we had to wait over 40 mins for a burger andchips that was really not up too much, it was hot but just a bit simple and to best honest i was exspecting a lot better, there was no healty food on offer, no salad or nice vegie offering, the staff were curtious but you could tell they didnt really want to be there we wouldnt go back, rather have a weatherspoons

I was quite disappointed by this restaurant. it was the first time I went in a Garfunkle’s and I did not really enjoy it. The service and atmosphere were ok but the dishes and menu were quite horrible. I don’t understand why they insist on selling high fat food, rich cream, extra mega cheesy food. I just wanted a normal meal and I took an omelette and salad, just because all the rest is not attractive for people who don’t want to eat junk food.
