Downbeat casual fashions, everything feels a bit more like what you’d wear on the weekends… I have a friend who is known for her put-together, but ever-loose and neutral-toned look… and this shop looks like it could be her closet — so that may give you a better idea of what you’ll find here. Lots of soft and cozy items in grey, black and beige with maybe a few structured items thrown in for something more stylish and polished-looking to choose from. I like the clean feel of the place; the shiny dark wood floor and the white walls… the austerity of it really lets the clothes shine. You come here for the fashion — because they have the brands you like — not for any sort of shopping«experience.» In addition to what another reviewer mentioned in terms of brands, you’ll find plenty of Ann Demeulemeester and Alexander Wang. Right now they have really great leather pieces… including Rick Owens leather jackets — a current fashion must-have.

A bit more floaty boho than its big sister store in Knightsbridge, this Feathers boutique appeals to its upmarket but slightly dressed down Notting Hill customers. That said, there are some really interesting choices here — edgier designs by the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Rick Owens and Alexander McQueen alongside more feminine pieces by Emma Cook and Etro. Young Brit designers(such as Peter Pilotto) usually make an appearance as well, and there is a small«casual» section devoted to denim and cotton pieces.
