The food was wonderful and the service was superb. It was great to eat tasty food and watch the foot traffic on Edgware Rd on a Friday night in May. I had the shish taouk and Lebanese salad that made me want to come back the next time I’m in London. What really amazed me was the American sized portions. It was huge! Try this place if you’re in the neighborhood.

My parents and I wandered in here after a long international flight in July 2012… sometime around 1am. When we walked up they said they were closed for Ramadan. We asked if anyone else might be open and they said everything nearby was also closed so, they graciously allowed us to sit down at a table and said they could serve us at 2am if we were willing to hang out. We did wait and the waiter(owner?) returned to our table just after 2am with delicious hommos beiruty, moutabal, and tabbouleh.

The chef is so nice and makes a delicious shawarma. Walked me thru the flavors and made sure we loved every bite.

Service was slow and disinterested. Food was pretty good. Fresh. Might come here again if in the area, but wouldnt necessarily recommend.

the Mediterranean cuisine has always fascinated me, with its full, rich taste, and colours, not to mention mouth watering dishes! I went with some friends to celebrate an anniversary, and we had the most enjoyable evening there! The food was absolutely superb! the waiter was a professional, respectful, knowledgeable, and with a smile. He knew what to recommend and was very attentive to our requests when it came to diet restriction or certain ingredients. The atmosphere was amazing, it was as if we were transferred in time and place to and exotic place, with wonderful smells and enticing choice of foodI recommend Fatoush restaurant to anyone who wants to explore the Lebanese cuisine, perfect!

It’s on Edgware Road and it rhymes with Maroush, the ubiquitous Middle Eastern chain. So it must be a Middle Eastern restaurant. I popped in here to get a takeaway freshly squeezed melon drink. I love this stuff — if they bottled and sold it in the supermarkets, they would clean up. Sweet and refreshing, it’s just what you need on a warm summer’s day. I didn’t eat, having just had dinner but the shwarmas rotating on the spits looked and smelt very appetising.

With the many other lebanese restaurants on Edgeware Road, Fatoush has a lot to live up to, and it definitely does that. The restaurant is decorated colourfully, with seating by the front of the restaurant, or seating in the more secluded area towards the back. They also have outside seating, where you can enjoy your meal as well as smoke a sheesha. The staff are very friendly, and made an effort to make sure that the meal went well and that we were pleased with our food. They recommended their specials, and they were as good as they said. At the end of the meal, they also provide a complimentary small plate of sweet lebanese pastries. The prices seemed a bit high compared to some of the places on Edgeware Road, but for one of the more up-market places, it wasn’t too bad, with the main courses going for on average £12 each. Would definitely not mind going back there again.
