Fantastic Cleaners

It’s taken a while for me to write this review, but they did a very thorough cleaning. The cleaners were just wonderful people with a positive approach to the job. For the nice services and flexibility this company offers, I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Actually, the cleaning took an hour longer than I expected. I specifically asked that they pay extra attention to the bedroom and the result was pleasing to the eye. It was more than just dusting and mopping, it was a detailed cleaning. They really put in a lot of effort.

Friendly communication, prompt and open to feedback. The service provided was professional and the job was done thoroughly in general. They were very nice to me and listened to my instructions and suggestions.

Definitely the first cleaning service that I’ve been happy with. They are very flexible in terms of scheduling. I had two cleaners who were easy to work with. They were on time even though the traffic I thought might have been a snag. The ladies worked professionally and were very respectful of my furniture and kitchen appliances.
Will use them again.

fantastic gutter cleaning service, Quick, thorough and very good value. We noticed with all the rain the constant dripping and realised the gutters were full. Such a simple service to book. I will defintely use them again for the gutters and look at what other services they do.

I was impressed! They did a very good job with a one-​time cleaning at our house, on fairly short notice. And we were very much in need of a deep cleaning, especially since we have five cats and have my father, my husband’s mother, and another friend visiting us all in a single week. (Gotta please the neat freaks)
I found the price very reasonable too at 175GBP for 12 hours of cleaning, done by three people in the space of four hours. Much more convenient than having one cleaning lady around all day long.
The team didn’t speak a lot of English, but we communicated just fine, and I found them very friendly and polite. I would definitely use this service again.

On the back of recommendations from YIK ( Unilocalers I Know), I booked a standard cleaning service with Fantastic Cleaners for my house. It was much needed, but that’s not to say that our place was a pile by any means. Just needed a good cleaning that neither my partner nor I had time to do. Enter Fantastic Cleaners.
The fee agreed and paid was reasonable for a three bed house including bathroom, kitchen, living and dining rooms to be cleaned. Overall, the house was cleaned to a good standard, but not what I would call immaculate. I’ve used other cleaners at other houses/​flats that have wowed me.
To be honest, it didn’t look terribly different than if we had spent the time to do a good clean of the house. Am I likely to use this company again? No. I was essentially auditioning them to be regular cleaners, but it just wasn’t proven value for money, even though I was given a reasonable price for the work.
From the other reviews, and my experience, it seems their expertise is in End of Tenancy, but I’ll leave that to others to discuss.

Excellent pre-​clean online customer service. With live chat I was able to figure out exactly what I wanted done would cost and got the price down to something I was comfortable paying. Very patient and helpful staff.
The cleaning itself was also excellent. My flat mates and I wanted a thorough spring clean and were a little nervous about not getting the quality we expected for the price but I was impressed with all the positive reviews. Now our flat is cleaner that it has ever been, including when we moved in. We have two cats and the cleaners managed to clean all the fur out of the carpet (which our cats will promptly fur-​ify again but at least we got to see it pristine for a weekend!). Also our oven was a complete disaster due to a spilled treacle and the woman who cleaned it just laughed and didn’t complain or look put out at all. I would definitely ask them back for spring cleans or end-​of-​tenancy cleans in the future.

I used them for a move out cleaning and was sorely disappointed.
They didn’t come prepared with the cleaning equipment they needed – I had to take them to the store.
They barely spoke English.
They broke the shower door.
I forced them to stay longer because as I was inspecting the place I kept on finding dirt and places where they didn’t clean.
After they left I re-​cleaned the flat.
They were expensive and then continued to send marketing texts. Oy vey.

Absolutely amazing. I booked them for my end of tenancy cleaning after seeing good reviews on here, and I am SO GLAD I did. I did have some trouble getting in touch with them, though, which is why I knocked a star off my rating. I had to phone them several times to get anyone, and it added a bit of stress.
The cleaning itself went super smoothly. My one bedroom flat with separate kitchen and hallway was £158 to clean, including steam-​cleaned carpets. The place was spotless and the landlord was really impressed. Even the oven and and insides of the cupboards were clean! We were booked for 9:00am but got stuck in traffic en route. They were happy to meet us at the flat about 15 minutes later and were very professional about it. They took 2.5 hours to do the place, no issues and no last minute fees tacked on.
They also guarantee their cleaning, so if the landlord isn’t happy with it, they’ll redo it for free. Always a good thing. I highly recommend them, and they are worth every penny when it comes to saving your sanity while you move!

I booked these cleaners for an end of tenancy cleaning on the basis of Larissa’s review below, and I’m super glad I did.
The entire process was smooth, and easy. I was quoted £130 which included such pesky things as cleaning of the ovens, inside windows, and shower screens (three chores that are not in my talent bank when it comes to house work). You could add on additionals such as carpet cleaning, outside windows and wall washing, but I didn’t think this would be necessary for an end of tenancy cleaning. If it was my own place and I wanted a thorough spring clean, then I’d definitely consider this as I think it was really good value for money, especially considering I didn’t need to lift a finger to clean anything. SO GOOD. I love a clean house, and I feel like I’m constantly running around cleaning mine, so to not have to do this was such a treat!
They give you a time slot for arriving (I guess in case their other slot runs over), and we were happy with their prompt arrival. I also asked if I could leave and not arrange to come back at the end of the cleaning process as I was hungover and I really didn’t want to hang out for 3+hours. They were fine with this, and agreed to shut and lock the door after themselves.
We did go back to inspect the next day, and everything was super clean, and super sparkly — and our landlord is giving us our deposit back in full, so it is all good!
Highly recommended. I will use again.

I needed to book in an end-​of-​tenancy cleaning for my flat and didn’t really know where to start. So many people had given me warnings about cleaning services — I’d heard a lot of horror stories about ineffectual cleaners, and given the state of my «professionally cleaned» flat when I moved in, I was even more wary.
I did some Googling and came across Fantastic Cleaners. Being part of the internet age and wanting everything to be handled swiftly and seamlessly online, I figured it wouldn’t hurt to get a quick quote.
After I filled out the form online someone called me back promptly. I gave more details about my flat, and was quoted a price of £155 for my large 1-​bed, which sounded pretty damn reasonable to me. The guy I spoke to on the phone asked if I had booked movers (which I hadn’t yet), and offered to give me a quote for that (£92). He wasn’t pushy at all, and I figured I needed the movers anyway, so bish-​bash-​bosh I booked in for that too. Simple.
I got all the confirmation emails, and closer to the day I got confirmation text messages. Everything was on track. This put my stressed-​out moving-​mind at ease slightly.
On the day, the cleaners were supposed to arrive between 2pm and 3pm. I got a call just before 2pm from someone who told me they were on their way but that they would arrive closer to the 3pm mark; I appreciated this communication very much since I was just sitting around in my empty and cold flat otherwise.
A guy dropped off two women along with a vacuum cleaner and their cleaning supplies. They got to work promptly and chatted away in the front room in Polish (I think) as they cleaned all the wooden blinds. After a while, I asked how long the service would be, and they quoted me a finish time of about 3 hours later. I asked if I could leave and come back, and they obliged.
I left, but realised it was a bit silly for me to hang around the area for 3 hours, so I came back and asked if I could just pay the cleaners and get a receipt — and if they could just show themselves out at the end. This wasn’t a problem for them, and they gave me a receipt happily.
I was a bit wary, haven given money for a service before it was completed with no way to check up on it — but this worry turned out to be completely unfounded. When I returned to the flat the next day for my check-​out inventory, the place was spotless. Everything was sparklingly clean, and nothing was overlooked. The refrigerator and oven looked practically new. Even the washing machine’s grimy soap tray (that I never personally bothered to clean myself because I’m disgusting) was in good nick.
The boiler in the flat was broken, so I had to turn on the immersion heater to get the cleaners some hot water. I asked if they could turn it off before they left (’cause that shit’s expensive), not really holding out hope that this would happen (because I’m a cynical bitch) — but when I came back the next day, I found they even remembered to do that!
My new flat needs a good professional clean before I move into it, and I’m not going to hesitate to recommend my new landlord choose Fantastic Cleaners. I’ll probably even use them for my bi-​weekly domestic cleaning service in the new place if all their cleaners are like the ones I got!
