After 4 years of looking for the right salon in Central London, I found it! Electric has friendly, charismatic staff who are not only good hairdressers — they’re really nice people! They care about making you feel welcome, making you feel fabulous and making you look fabulous. Book your appointment, meet your stylist, sit down with tea, coffee or a glass of wine and come out with beautiful hair.

After having years of bad hair experiences with various hairdressers across London, I’ve been SO happy having found Charlie at Electric. I am very picky about my hair, so I’m constantly surprised that charlie over delivers, every time! Basically, his main goal in life is to make his clients happy, ranging from sourcing the best coffee beans for our yummy lattes, to responding to S.O.S. emails, even if he’s on holiday. Are you tired of not loving your hair? Just go to Charlie.

Well What can you say about Electric, its the Gem tucked away in the in the Streets of Marylebone, a too’s throw from the hustle and bustle of St Christopher’s . From the moment you step foot in the door its like bringing back that English Charm with pure luxury. Nothing is every too much for Francesco, warmly welcomed as your enter, in that amazing Italian style, whisked in comfort to a waiting chair, coffee, tea, wine ready and waiting to great you. Its like visiting your family. Everyone says hi and your feeling right at home. Freya’s charismatic and infectious personality immediately greets you and puts you at ease, a little chat and mingle and its downstairs to be pampered and bathed in relaxation as your tempted to grab forty winks as your washed and massaged to perfection. What a massage it is too. Francesco is definitely a dab hand at this, impeccably gentle with the right amount of pressure and care, you awake from your little drift to heaven refreshed and relaxed, true bliss. Its long been known that no one has cut my hair apart from my Friend for the last 14 years, who is a well known International Art Director, so no pressure then. But alas with a jet set schedule, I was in need of finding that someone special that could tend to my needs. Having been introduced to Freya at a previous salon, I was instantly hooked and never looked back. There was no doubt about following Freya to Electric, and well she’s simply fab. She can teach the big guns a trick or two, as has earned her place up there at the top too. Nothing is ever too much trouble and she has honed her skills to perfection, even better than those I would have only gone too. She know what I want, and its just how I Like it. You can alway expect 100% on every visit, and you leave feeling amazing and treated like a star. Taking her time, and never rushing, and teach you about the new and latest products available, some of which are just amazing. Finally to the little touches as you leave from a simple extra rinse at the end to the final style and polish, you leave feeling relaxed, pampered, and glam . There are those that my consider it a high price to pay, but then you pay for what you get in my book. Excellence and service is delivered in abundance, you will not be tempted to try elsewhere once you’ve set foot @ Electric.

It is always a pleasure going to electric. The vibe is very friendly and laid back but all the staff keep it professional when it comes to the hair cuts. Ive been getting my hair cut at electric since it opened and haven’t been disappointed! Until recently ive had very short hair so apart from a trim i didn’t think there would be much that could be done, but every time i visited electric I walked out with a new short style that looked completely different from the one before– at one point I had people stopping me in the street or supermarket to compliment me on my hair– no joke! My only problem now is that im growing my hair so i have to wait longer to my next visit!

I visited Electric Hair curious to see what difference a £70 cut with a principal stylist would make(admittedly I got the £70 haircut at a discount… but still!). I usually never spend more than £40 on my hair but my experience at Electric hair would make me consider splashing out in future. I wanted a bit of an update to my style(nothing radical) and got just that. My hair was cut by Tom and I can honestly say that I have never witnessed anyone putting so much effort into cutting my hair just right, taking into account the shape of my hairline, hair type etc. Too often I find hairdressers either take my instructions too literally without using any of their own creativity, or, at the other end of the spectrum, go crazy doing what they feel would look good, leaving me with something I didn’t want. But Tom struck the right balance, discussing what I wanted thoroughly and using his expertise to suggest adjustments that i wouldn’t have thought of. I am really please with the end result: a great style that is super easy to maintain(the true sign of a brilliant haircut in my book). Thanks!

Went here on the recent voucher offer and was really looking forward to an expensive-new-do-for-not-too-much-money…(voucher was 20 pounds for 70 pound haircut with principle stylist) I wanted to cut off a significant amount of hair(6 – 7 inches) to freshen things up and I figured since I was in the hands of a «principle stylist,» things would turn out OK. Upon arriving, the front desk staff and guy who washed my hair were very friendly. I was offered a drink — coffee, tea, wine, etc and decided to go for the glass of wine. Turns out it was out of a box(bleh) so I barely drank any… Everything felt very rushed once I was passed off to the stylist. I couldn’t even tell you his name, apart from the fact that it wasn’t Charlie mentioned in the other review, as I’ve met him before… Before I knew it, half my hair was on the ground and he was holding up the mirror to show me his work. I left the salon feeling pretty good about everything, but the next day is when things went downhill. I part my hair on the side, and he cut it like that. Even before he dried it, I asked«don’t you think a couple of those pieces look uneven.» «Oh no, it will be fine once dried…» Well, it looked OK once he got every piece turned under, but when I woke up in the morning, long pieces were everywhere. I determined if I don’t part my hair EXACTLY how he had it, there are random pieces that hang almost and INCH past the others. I unfortunately had to take matters into my own hands at this point, and evened things out a bit, but am SO disappointed in this haircut. I was really looking forward to this experience and hoped to make it my go-to salon since I live in the neighborhood. Unfortunately, it’s back to the drawing board!
