The rest of the world is good about having Pay-​As-​You-​Go SIM cards. London is no exception since I needed a SIM card for my iphone so I can make local calls to friends.
Walking into EE, it was a little bit crowded but I was able to get awesome service from Alkash (sp?) who gave me a deal on a SIM: 25GBP for 1000 talk minutes, unlimited texting and 14GB data. That’s a better deal than I have here in the States!
Alkash was efficient and got me in an out of the store in less than 15 minutes — it pays to get a local SIM unless you have T-​Mobile with their International Plan to use abroad.
