What a lovely pub.
My good opinion was easily purchased because the day we came in for a pint was also a match-​day and thus barbecue!
A sunny day, a grilled burger with special hot sauce and sauerkraut, a cold pint… heaven.
London has so many charming pubs it’s difficult to single any one of them out, however I found the Duchess to be a particularly enjoyable experience. The waitstaff and barbecue grill-​man were also exceptionally nice and seem to really be enjoying themselves.
As an aside, this is also a good place to read or to get some work done because their outdoor seating is quiet and comfy.
