Cute coffee shop with lots of light coming through. You can have English breakfast, vegetarian breakfast for 8 pounds, all sorts of sandwiches for 4 pounds and even lunch options for 8 pounds too. I like working here in the morning but you have to be lucky enough to sit close to the plugs if you wanna charge your computer. I also enjoy the swing music. Happy atmosphere

I’ve come in here a handful of times to work in the afternoon and it’s always pleasant in there, especially sitting by the window looking onto the park. Also good coffee and yummy pastries & baked goodies.

Nice and simple place. Very cosy and clean. Guy at the counter was very friendly! Nice street view, good seating and enough of space for a café. Haven’t got a bad thing to say really… Well, our coffees came without a saucer, but that’s about it :)

We came here on Sunday for coffee and cake, it was ok, but won’t be coming back in a hurry. The cake was very good– hence the reason for 3 not 2 stars, even at £3.85 a slice! We weren’t happy with the service, it wasn’t busy– yet our order took forever to arrive and when it did it was in instalments and elements of the order were wrong, how hard is it to bring a croissant? Also the coffee was lukewarm. The ambience of the place was nice, although of a certain demographic and rather hipster, reflecting how gentrified the area has become. The brunches being served to others looked amazing it has to be said. Overall not a bad place to grab coffee and brunch, but don’t expect quick or good service. Has a few tables outside which is nice.

I really like this place. It’s high-quality without being that kind of trendy, gentrifying place that ruins neighbourhoods. Service was very friendly. Unfortunately, they were out of the sandwiches I wanted to try last time I went there, but it was close to the end of the day so I can’t really blame them. The café itself is very spacious and has loads of natural light so it seems really inviting, especially during this latest cold snap. Good pot of tea for a good price. Free wi-fi too.
