Dormeuil

Founded in France in 1842 to import English fabrics to France, Dormeuil first set up shop in London in 1871. With over 170 years of experience, Dormeuil has a well-​earned reputation of being among the absolute best in terms of quality, and also have very fun and unique designs alongside the tried and true traditional suit colors.
While in London, I figured I might as well stop by their store and peruse what the new cloths looked like, as a new suit was beckoning. Getting there perilously close to closing time, the door was closed but I rang and Sonia was kind enough to let me in and look around. While she had a pressing appointment to leave for, I was permitted to take 2 books of fabric back to my hotel room to have a good look and think about what I would be splurging on. I stopped back in the next morning and ordered 5 meters (enough for 2 pairs of pants, a jacket, and a vest).
Taking delivery of the fabric, it was much more beautiful than the book had promised, and my tailor will be working his magic to my benefit soon enough. Sonia has already followed up with an email to ensure that I was happy, and I think I’ve found myself a new destination in London. Dormeuil get that their product is world-​renowned and top-​notch, but it’s their customer service which will create a life-​long customer. I’m happy to be counted among them.
