Half-​hearted care from doctor, exceptionally rude receptionist.
Doctor was very abrupt, distracted and dismissed my infant’s illness as «something viral.» It took talking to other mothers and my own research to realize it’s Hand, Foot and Mouth. While it’s not a serious illness, just a little more thought and consideration on the part of a doctor I’ve paid £227 for a 5-​minute visit would be nice. The following day, calling for a proper invoice to submit to my insurance company, the receptionist treated me to some of the rudest service I’ve ever experienced. She told me that if the invoice she was planning on e-​mailing me was not sufficient, there would be an extra charge for her to make one with more details! ABSURD.
There are many other choices for housecall doctors that are so much better, from beginning to end, such as My Family Doctor, which I should have called to start with.
