After a stop at the Tate Britain me and my mister were starved and decided to have a look around to see if we could grab a late lunch somewhere. We passed Delizie d’Italia as it looked mostly like a grocery store from outside but decided to come back and give it a try. I got the pasta of the day(pumpkin and Gorgonzola) and it was an Italian fest for my palate. The place has plenty of authentic Italian products and delicatessen, you can eat in(only few tables) or eat out. The staff is lovely and the prices very affordable. Highly recommended if you are looking for a genuine delicious place around Pimlico. We will go back for sure.

I was very surprised by this place. They have excellent food made in small batches. When you eat it, you can tell it was made with love. The cannelloni I had was a slice of perfection.

When you want to drink a real Italian Cappuccino(yes this is the real spelling, I am Italian), try this lovely cosy delicatessen shop. You can sit down in a relaxed atmosphere and enjoy the many Italian delicacies. Why don’t you start with a tasty ciabatta bread fill in with Parma Ham(prosciutto crudo), mozzarella, grilled aubergines, make it hot for supreme taste and finish with one of the many sweets or cakes offered. Plenty of choice, everything is authentic. Prices are more expensive than the local sandwich shop but not so much more for the quality offered. Some Pasta prices are cheaper than the big stores. Good Value. Try you will love it too!

The most Italian corner in Pimlico, so much so, that when I went on there the guy that helped me did not speak a word of English; I was trying«porfavore» to get a sandwich. They have all sorts of cold meats, and pasta, and good ready to eat lasagna.
