Discovered this little gem of a café and wished I had found it sooner. They serve breakfast all day which is great since we don’t always get an early start coming from the U.S. Service was attentive and friendly, coffee hot and fresh. I had an almond croissant that was delicious. My wife had ham and eggs which she loved while my daughter had pancakes and toast, also wonderful. If you are staying within walking distance I highly recommend DDK.

Decided on this café in the line of four on Warwick Rd to try out. The order was taken without a smile and delivered without a word. My plate was taken and then I was ignored totally for thirty minutes even though I had asked for a coffee. It’s unpleasant to be treated like that and I am up set that a team of workers from Russia and England in the cosmopolitan capital that is London could be so discriminatory and rude. The food was reasonable and not to expensive. I obviously would not go back.

We went there for a nice brunch on a sunny Saturday morning. The people are lovely, the food is great and we had the chance to seat in the garden. We had royal eggs, a late and fresh mix juice. I highly recommend this place that is not overcrowed and where prices are very reasonable. Enjoy!

Your basic English caf. If you are a fan of plain white bread, small mediocre eggs and really bad radio(She’s Like the Wind) then this is the place for you. They are really nice here and if you like basic food at a cheap price, then it is good. Just not my style… I am one for greasy spoons, so long as it is over the top delicious.

DDKs is a really good no fuss greasy spoon that is inexpensive and savory. They have some tables outside so on a sunny day you can enjoy a delicious English breakfast while basking in the Sun. They also serve hot sandwiches for the days when you are on the run; pop in and have a yummy bite. The coffee is also fresh and just lovely. It is usually busy but the service is fast and effective so you don’t have to wait long for your food or brew.
