I paid £6 for a sub-par GF wrap ;-; It’s all good though as the service was great, the wifi was fee and the menu boasted loads of other tasty-sounding GF options, including smoothies/juices. I’ll return again if I’m in the area, but will probably take-away as it’s cheaper and the place doesn’t have the best ambience.

Recently I was introduced to this place by my mother who assured me that this was the best gourmet wraps she’ve ever tasted. So I’ve ordered online last Wednesday because I was too lazy to do the cooking on my own again. I’ve purchased 2 vegetarian and 2 non-vegetarian wraps just to see how they taste. I loved the Athenian wrap. It was probably one of the best things I’ve tasted recently. Not to mention that it was healthy as well. This is definitely the kind of place I could recommend with no doubt as reasonably priced health food store.

I was recently introduced to Danny’s as another option for a quick lunch nearby school in Bloomsbury, and a friend and I made it a priority to swing by this week, after trying their smoothies one day. Danny’s offers a wide variety of soups, wraps, sandwiches and smoothies, as well as a handful of health food options including Clif Bars, nutrient boosts and organic teas. It’s actually quite an unusual combination, but one that works well between classes and group meetings. Their prices are standard for the area, though a little bit high when compared with other takeaway places. Their food is flavorful and healthy; I had the Clerkenwell wrap and it was probably one of the healthiest things I’ve ordered in London, packed with veggies. Their red Thai soup was perfect for a late Autumn day, and the strawberry banana smoothie was just as good in full size as in sample. This is definitely the kind of place I could come to frequent, and their sidewalk tables are already in my mind for warmer weather in the Spring.

The first time I stopped in, I was being undecisive and overwhelmed by the options(this is common for vegetarians who are used to scanning the menu for the one or two veggie dishes and then taking what you can get— I have commitment issues now). The guy behind the counter told me to get the special, which was a toasted Christmas dinner wrap. I was completely skeptical— fake turkey, brie, cranberry mayo, stuffing, onion and lettuce. But by God, I’ve thought about that wrap multiple times since then… it was absolutely delicious. We went back the other day and I tried the Athenian and the Italian. Both super good. I’m impressed by the variety they manage here— not simple variations on a theme, but totally different flavor profiles. And they have multiple vegetarian proteins– falafel, egg, fake deli meat, bean salad, nut & seed mix. Wraps are mostly £4.50, or 5 toasted. They also have soup and a few sides. And since it’s a wrap place, it’s important to note that they seem really great at not only giving you enough of the good stuff, and making it feel worth your money, but they also excel at the all-so-important wrap skill– evenly distributing the goodness so you’re not left with lettuce and bread at the end. Simple but essential, right? Definitely recommend if you’re in the neighborhood and need a meal on the run, and I think it’s worth the short walk from the mediocre Holborn/Chancery Lane quick lunch options.

This place is a really great find for the sandwich craving. They do fresh juices in the front and then it is wrap heaven inside. The wrap is a big wheat-style pita and they have really good combos or they allow you to create your own. They have 3 different preparations of chicken for any craving and good ingredients like broccoli, avocados, and fresh mozzerella. They are also friendly which makes a big difference. This is no doubt a lunchtime treat that will fill you up. love it.

Oh my… Oh my, oh my, oh my! Danny, you can wrap me up any day. Fill me with your awesome selection of meats and have me drooling over your balls(falafels). That’s right, I’m totally into Danny right now. I was introduced to this place by a friend who claimed that«these are the best wraps in London» and she’s not far off. It’s in line with Jumbo Eats in Soho but not quite that character from the chaps wrappin’ it up behind the counter. It’s a really extensive menu and they’ll even make exactly what you want. They have a little guide on their menu too that tells you what kind of diet it fits with: 1. Wheat intolerance 2. Dairy intolerance 3. Yeast and Candida 4. Diabetic 5. Coeliac 6. Weight control 7. Sports nutrition Now that is attention to detail!
