Corney & Barrow

Ok so this is a Corney & Barrow wine bar, its a chain so its prices/​décor staff are pretty much all the same.
What makes this one good in particular is the location.
I accidentally discovered this particular one once while wandering lost around Liverpool Street area and unless you specifically know its there, you probably wont find it!
because its kinda overlooking the station, its sounds rubbish, but you do get a sense of a hidden away venue.
In the summer, its great because there is a MASSIVE outside area where everyone can stand because bascially the bar itself is a very small room. The downside of both these things is that in the summer its rammed and pretty difficult to get served as the queue goes out the door.
In the autumn/​winter however as less people are out and about, its slightly easier.
The other advantage is that, they turn the water fountain on in th autumn/​winter too as no doubt in the summer people have previously had the propensity to stick their feet in!
if you dont mind sitting outside, then this quiet, water fountain, delicately lit quiet bar, where they also sell good cigars, is very good :)

I found myself in here early last Friday evening with some old colleagues and we all had a great time. As we’d arrived fairly early we managed to get a table but the place did fill up really quickly. They have a really extensive wine menu with something to suit every budget.

Was here last night the staff were really helpful and we also got free jugs of Pimms as they had an offer on which was really good!!!
