I once went in here and the shopkeeper rolled his eye at me with an expression on his face like«what are you doing in here?» I’m Asian so I figured it was because of that. I find it funny that a lowly shopkeeper making 20k pounds a year selling lambswool jumpers(but mostly just folding stuff and trying to look busy) all of a sudden becomes a sophisticated big shot wearing fine British country hunting attire like he owns a few thousand acres in the countryside and goes pheasant hunting in his off time when he’s not in London making close to minimum wage ringing up the till. LOL. At least get an MBA and a real job if you want to act like a hoity toity British gentleman. You can’t back up your fancy attitude just by working in a fancy store when you’re sharing a 1 bedroom flat with your 3 roommates in Tottenham. I don’t care how much tweed you wear.

I love Cordings old world charm. It’s always on my list of shops to visit when I’m in London.

Cordings is owned by the world famous musician, Eric Clapton. This is the only shop I know in London that only stock button-cuff shirts. I only buy gifts in this shop for friends and family. Nothing really for myself, I have to say. Nonetheless, Cordings have very good deals when it comes to their winter and summer sales.
