I found the chips to be very very average. £2.50 for a ‘large’ portion. It was anything but large. Not going again.

There is another review which does not recommend this place and my food echoes this reviewer’s food. The batter was yellow, the fish uncooked and the chips were not cooked properly either. I ordered food to be delivered and phoned them up. I was told they would send another fish and chips. They called me back five minutes later and preached at me there was nothing wrong with the food and it was like that because it was delivered and they would only reimburse my money if they collected the food. I agreed to this but would not give me my money until they opened the fish and chips and took photos. The person I spoke to on the phone would not let me say anything.

Based in Temple Fortune, in between Golders Green and Finchley, you won’t struggle to find plenty of Kosher eateries and bakeries… but a good, reliable fish and chips can be found on the busy Finchley Road. Chips are reasonably priced, with generous portions. I only went for chips, initially, but after seeing the décor inside, and comfy seats I decided to eat in, following a small portion, I treated myself to an apple pie with custard. Just to top off the calories: P ! The pie could have used more cinnamon and usual flavours, and there was too little custard for my liking. All in all, go there for some fish and chips, even if your tummy is rumbling late in the day. as they are open till 10pm !
