City Zebrano

A surprisingly cool bar hidded under a sleek looking restaurant on the border of the City. The raw décor makes you feel your in a cave (tables are made of stone and seats like like some). They serve delicious cocktails and decent food. Check for live entertainment, the night I visited it was pretty good.

Excellent restaurant and bar chain. This brabRecently opened in the city near by Liverpool Street Station. Dine in the bar area and come 9pm, middle area is cleared for dancing with resident DJ. Always good music. Great for parties.

I was lucky enough to attend an event launch night here and my was I impressed. This Zebrano branch recently opened and it is definitely my favourite. The décor is very modern (and a little strange) but it works! Not so sure about the concrete tables (literally secured into the floor with the iron rods that you would see on a building site) but hey ho I guess it’s «Art». The loos also have that industrial feel as the doors are big, heavy metal doors. But I did like the modern lights that surrounded the bar and dance floor area.
Right the good stuff– food and drinks! I will certainly go back for the food, I loved the complimentary canapés on offer — mini cones of salmon and cream cheese with caviar, doughnut type things with beef and gravy (sounds weird, but it’s so good!), chicken coated with breadcrumbs and lots of other yummy treats. The cocktails were incredibly good and potent (and all of course made with the wonderful Crystal Head Vodka). A thoroughly great night (the complimentary cocktails, canapés and Prosecco reception were a great bonus).
