Charlotte Murray

I went to see Danielle at the beauty room in Charlotte Murray, she’s fabulous! Lvl lashes and a brow shape.
Lvl are still quite hard to find in London but the results at great, throw away those eyelash curlers! It’s not the nicest of treatments — your eyes are kind of pushed closed, but Danielle stayed with me in the room chatting whilst the lotion was working, it made a huge difference and the time fly.
I’ll be back, I want to try her facials.

Popped in for a blow-​dry today (they are advertising them in the window at the moment). Happy with the result — lovely and bouncy with lots of body. They were all very sweet, and I felt ‘uplifted’ after a rotten week. I’ll go back :)

I have been a customer at Charlotte Murray
since I moved to Muswell Hill in 2010. I
am not a regular reviewer on qype but I wanted to offer my opinion of this
salon, particularly to balance those reviews here that have rated
without actually having visited the place (perhaps it is the qype site they
should be rating?). My hair is cut by Charlotte and my colour
has been done by a few different colourists.
Charlotte is clearly a very well-​trained, experienced and confident
hairdresser whom, I feel, cuts to suit head shape and hairline rather than to a
regulated style. This is an approach
that I really like but I appreciate it might not suit everyone. In terms of colour, I have moved from foils
to full head colour over the past year and my hair colour has always been great
and in fantastic condition. I also get
my nails done with Eva who has helped me get rid of my short, stubbly, brittle
and splitting nails for something I am a lot more proud of. Others have commented on the style of the
salon which I think is reflective of the individuality that Charlotte has and
is trying to encourage amongst her staff, whom I have only experienced as being warm and friendly.
In the past there has been some staff turnover but
things have been much more settled over the last year. And, I believe, the level of turnover
experienced has not been any more than any other hairdresser I have ever been
to.
Finally, in case of accusations otherwise,
I want to state that I am not Charlotte, or one of her team, or a personal
friend of hers I am merely a very happy, regular customer.

I had my hair cut by Charlotte and although she is lovely and the hairdressing salon is professional and good to look at it wasnt a good cut at all — it really didnt suit my face shape or what I was hoping to achieve. It is also rather expensive for what it is… maybe you will have a better experience then me but unfortunatly I wont be going back.

A lovely local hairdresser, with friendly staff who know what they are doing. A very relaxed place with a great décor too!

Confident, contemporary hairdressing. The furniture’s pretty special too.
