CASK had an upbeat vibe, great beer selection and good food. We arrived and were able to find a table. We went up to the bar to order, I got the hefeweizen and my boyfriend got the lager. We enjoyed both. We ordered two bacon burgers, one with the truffle oil fries and the other with the bacon dust fries. The burger was delicious and the truffle oil fries were the best. I would recommend this place to anyone! Just keep in mind that there is only burgers on the menu!

Cask does a great job showcasing the UK’s craft beer evolution in a comfortable setting with a staff that understands and care about their product. The food is surprisingly good too. I had the Portabella and Halloumi ‘burger’, which was quite tasty and the chips were well done. Suffice to say, I spent 5 days in London at a hotel over a kilometer away, and I made it here every day.

Pre-Christmas drinkies(review is a little late) but this is a great pub. A little off the beaten track but worth making the incremental effort to get to this place. So cold, grey London day and picked this place to meet a couple of friends. They have an excellent selection of ales, beers, and other fluids(whiskey, burbons and I a reasonable wine selection too. Staff were friendly and helpful, more than happy to offer a sample of their tap beers to make sure you found the right one. I ordered a burger to satisfy the inner hunger, came out pretty quickly despite the place being quite busy, and was served with a generous portion of chips. When I’m back in the area I’ll stop by for a pint or three!

In terms of beers this place is a good spot. However we came here to eat and have drink. I was happy with the beers we had good selections. The burgers where marginal overall. We had the Elvis, which was a heavily covered burger with peanut butter and bananna. The peanut butter took over the burger entirely leaving little room fir tasting the actual burger. We got the bacon dusted fries. SGAIN Nothing special. Ww went to honest burger this week as well and was so much better.

This is a solid pub with a variety of cask and bottle beers. I suggest getting there early because some tables will be reserved depending on the night. I can’t speak to their food, but if you like to throw a few back and sample different flavors this is your place. There’s comfy seating throughout and relatively quiet until everyone meets up after work for a post-work cocktail. I can speak to their food, but I did see a few plates come out of the kitchen and they looked and smelled delicious!

If you are into gourmet burgers, any choice is a winner for you. You will enjoy the sides with great souces, such as Bloody Mary Ketchup(it has some vodka in it, and tastes exactly like Bloody Mary), Honey& Mustard etc. Oh, dont forget to grab their craft wheat beer for that amazing meal. You’re welcome!

Perhaps the quintessential British pub. Cask features an amazing selection of craft ales, one that is rotated on a regular basis. Those keg ales of this week will unlikely be there next month. If you cannot find a delicious brew from their kegs, they’ve got bottled beer galore that will surprise and delight even the craft beer afficianados. Their burger are good eating. Not great, but a solid ¾ out of 5. The chips are served with nice sauces, and the place is always bustling with activity. Whether its the live music on Sundays, or just a place to meet up with your mates after a busy day at the office, this is the place to come. Solid food, impeccable beer, this is everything a classic British drinking establishment ought to be.

Huge beer selection, live music in Sundays, and burgers from 40 Burgers upstairs. There seems to be a slow turnover in patrons which speaks to how much the place can pull you in. Super happy with my experience here.

Great beer. LOTS of beer. And the food provided by Forty Burgers is cracking. If you’ve never had a Forty Burger you’re missing out, honestly! CASK I believe is part of a small chain of CAMRA recommended pubs. They must have over a hundred different beers available at any given time and they are regularly changing the selection. The staff are friendly and knowledgable about their products and tasters are always available. Beers come in pints, halves and thirds and prices are determined by the alcohol percentage of the beer. If you’ve got a CASK near you or even not. Get yourself there. It’s like a beer festival every day!

What a varied selection of beers? they have it. What a taste burger? They have it. Want to meet your mates? come early as the tables fill up! Had some great beers here so a definite plus. The sweat potato chips(fries) are very good. They have some interesting spicy on them that totally makes them way better than traditional chips. I had the cheese burger and it was very good. Nicely done and very tasty. My DC just at the regular burger and it was ok. It really does need the cheese. One thing that was cool is some of the sauces that you can try out. Highly recommend the bloody mary catsup. A bit of a kick. Be sure to have a friend grab a table while you go order. as this place fills up fast!

Meh. I thought the atmosphere was a bit soulless. If you are going there you are having burgers and fries which are fine but not amazing. I must admit I wasn’t drinking that day so didn’t get to sample the beers, but I wouldn’t go running back there just to try them.

Nice pub. Great selection. Lots of their bottled beers are from CA too, I took it as a sign they know good craft beer. Very relaxing place

If you’re looking for a good time, this is the place to go. We went last night & loved the live music. We never expected it to find a bluegrass band in London, but here’s the place. If you’re looking for great food, though, this shouldn’t be your first choice. I had an Elvis burger that included strips of bacon & peanut butter & fried bananas. Interesting but not great.

After my full first day in London(non-jetlagged), after wandering around what seemed to be 16 museums, I needed a beer. A delicious, dark beer. Oh and a burger. Naturally I had bookmarked CASK as a stop, not only for the raves, but also because it was close to my hotel. Because, drunk priorities. I came in and was a little unsure of where to go, as I am a stupid American. Like, really really dumb. Thankfully the beer behind the bar beckoned me and I was able to order an Old Moor Porter and a burger. I sat down at one of the many open tables(early-ish on a Monday evening so it wasn’t too full yet). The burger was quite delicious and I seem to have rated the porter a 3.5÷5 on untappd. While I would definitely recommend to beer lovers everywhere, one star because I feel the service could have been improved. It wasn’t raining, nobody was bleeding, so why the sour faces of the staff?

While the rest of London dismally attempts to recreate the 19th century local pub with all the disneyland-esque charm head office can manage, this place puts all their chips in and bets the farm on what they think really matters at a pub… the beer. You will not find a better selection in London. Also the limited menu items available from the kitchen downstairs are held to a complementary high standard as the frothy goodness rotating on the dozen or so taps.

We just had a glass of beer/cider, but I could already tell I’d like this place even for food. Our beer and cider were both fresh and tasty. The selection was varied and nice too, with plenty of different ales, ciders, etc to choose from. For food, they seemed to do burgers only. Although we didn’t eat anything, based on observing what were being served at the tables around us, the burgers looked solidly done. Ambience is simplistic and yet, just casual and perfect enough for a relaxed evening. I’d definitely return for more beer and some. burgers!

Found this great pub via Unilocal.another great example of Unilocal is amazing :-) You really have to know where to look when finding this place as, from the outside, it doesn’t look like a pub. It looks like a corner store. The atmosphere really isn’t that cosy, it feel more like a Wetherspoons. Along with the type of people that attends such places. The seat are hard and the décor is rather boring. They also do not serve ANY hot drinks. No coffee, tea, etc. BUT, what makes this place great is the beer and the burgers. They have SO many beers and great staff that will tell you all about them :-) I had a sweeter on that was aged in a white wine barrel. The burgers, are okay. They’re more fun than great. Thus my 4 stars. Overall, this is a fun place to go to for a very chilled afternoon. I would not recommended this place for a business meeting or a romantic night out. I would recommended it for a group of good friends that is looking for something different and to enjoy great beer with decent food :-)

CASK Pub and Kitchen surprised me in many ways… I’m impressed! It’s located in a quiet-ish area in Pimlico but be warned — it’s definitely not quiet inside! It was surprisingly busy on a Friday 17:30. The bar staff was really helpful and friendly when it came to deciding on beers. I had the Pheasant Plucker cider and it was everything I ever wanted(and more). It was sweet and just really easy to drink. I also had the Heat burger which was good but not amazing. They also give you a huge tray of condiments… Which blew my mind(the honey mustard mayo especially). If I were rating the burger alone, I’d give it 3 stars. I didn’t like the texture of the patty. It was too dense for my liking. The delicious blue cheese and buffalo sauce almost made up for the weird patty. Overall, great pub with amazing beer selection. I will definitely returning but not sure if I’ll order the burger again.
