Canton is an average Chinese lunch place with cheap prices and average food. I ordered sweet and sour chicken with rice but was a little disappointed with the quality of the chicken — there was more breading than actual chicken. But at only £3.85 it’s still not too shabby!

Many people would not agree with this rating. But, people who have had a night out in central London and were craving some food at the end of a very(let’s call it) hectic night, will agree and probably think I was being harsh. It is an excellent food to calm and bring down any tipsiness you might have acquired thorough out the night. They have a good selection of chicken, pork, lamb, beef and vegetables which, you can accompany with steamed rice, fried rice or noodles. Some of their dishes include; sweet and sour chicken, spicy chicken, beef in black bean sauce, kung po pork, lamb curry, chicken in mushroom sauce among others. Any combination at £3.95, served in typical Chinese take away box and everything is Halal. It gets busy, but its worth the queue. In all fairness it is also the kind of lunch you might crave once in a while, not the healthiest but sometimes its o. k to be naughty. Also, they do deliveries to offices within the area. Lucky central Londoners.
