I will shout from the rooftops that I love Caffe Nero! My absolute favorite spot for coffee in London and probably much of the world. The cappuccinos and soy lattes just don’t compare to anything I’ve experienced to date. This location, very convenient to Green Park and all of Mayfair really, is my favorite that I’ve visited as well. The employees were friendly and didn’t mind that I sat for several hours looking over schoolwork or making travel plans.(Yes I was that embarassing tourist at times during my time abroad.) I have a constant debate with myself whether or not I want Caffe Nero to make its way to the States so I can enjoy it more often or if I want it to remain a beacon of hope in the UK, that one day soon I might make it back across the pond for more good coffee and British accents galore.

I like my coffee like I like my Death Stars: gigantic, on the Dark Side and powerful enough to destroy a planet! With the quality of coffee being a point of pride among Italians, you can always guarantee they’ll do their best to ensure you get a good cup of Joe! Nearly all of the branches i’ve been to in London are fully staffed with Italians which gives an authentic feel so you can be forgiven for thinking that you’re in a coffee shop in Rome. This branch is the one I visit the most as I’m in the area a lot and the coffee is always very good, the staff are friendly and the interior is clean with a nice layout and plenty of seating and power outlets. Also, have you seen Italian’s argue when something goes wrong? That ish is hilarious and entertainment value enough with all the hang gestures flying around when waiting for you coffee! Caffè Nero and Costa are in a constant battle for my number one coffee choice in London but it’s not a battle that will be decided anytime soon!

Very convenient location right above Green Park tube station, good soy latte, lots of comfortable chairs, and free wi-fi. What more is there to ask for?(Maybe more bathrooms — I noticed a steady line for the co-ed bathroom)

Just above Green Park station, this Nero made for a quick spot of coffee and a dry place to hang out while a rain shower passed through. Two coolers near the door with sandwiches and cold drinks and a couple of polite baristas(does Nero call their coffee jockeys ‘baristas’?) who were able to quickly put together a latte for me to enjoy. Power outlets along the window where the columns are, but I managed to find one at the bench seat in the back corner where I could watch the comings and goings and see when the rain stopped. Wifi worked well.
