Bodrum

Great authentic Turkish food at a great price, for a great size portion of traditional food.
The staff are Turkish and incredibly friendly. The food is cooked freshly for you and you can choose from the little kebab bit at the front if you want a special meal. It has great traditional decoration and the food is cooked wonderfully over a smokey fire to give it a perfect taste. There is nothing offensive about the place, just good honest food.
Don’t be put off by it’s location as onc eyou venture inside it will be worth it I promise.

Bodrum is a Turkish restaurant which is laid out like a café and has a kebab takeaway section. Most people would class it as a regular kebab place and it does have that atmosphere. What seperates it is the quality of the food. Anyone who has been to Turkey and eaten in similar places knows that most kebab shops in ths country pale in comparison. Places like Bodrum should help change that. The managment and cooks are all Turkish and take a pride in their cuisine. In additon to kebabs, Bodrum also serves steak and meze. All the kebabs are wonderful, the steaks well-​seasoned and the potato and eggplant salads are good options for vegetarians. If there is one fault with Bodrum it is its location — too close to the centre of Croydon and so it sadly might become a place for drunk people who don’t appreciate good Turkish food to congregate.
