I had the kiwi and banana sorbetto on a cone and it was pretty good. You can’t tell from the photo, but the size of the scoop was huge!

Tiramisu gelato was good but not the best I have ever had. The customer service was exceptional and for that I give them 4stars. Be prepared to pay with cash unless your bill is at or over £5 because the minimum transaction for credit is £5. I ended up having to buy a cream soda fruit juice I didn’t really want but ended up loving the fruit juice even more than the gelato.

Let’s be perfectly honest here, no gelato will ever top what I had in Florence, Italy, FACT. But this comes a close second. And it’s drivable from home. DANGEEEEERROUSSS. Took a Canadian friend, her mum, my mum and gran today– lots of picky asian women. So you KNOW you can trust this review. Damn straight. Anyways, we actually got there too late for afternoon tea because all the scones were gone, but we did get brownies which was decadent. I couldn’t finish it. All cakes and brownies come with gelato– no questions asked, but I’m so glad that this is the case because their gelato is A class, the pistachio was the firm favourite, which was what I ordered, but my grandma switched mine because, well she can. We also ordered turkish delight which was so perfumed and heavenly, vanilla which I actually felt it wasn’t vanilla-ey enough, but I have high standards. Finally the cappucino– you can tell they use good coffee because it was a great gelato. I actually ordered the chai latte and the taste was lovely, but it wasn’t hot enough, which is a big shame! Im really sad that they didn’t have any chocolate gelato left to make the italian hot chocolate which I have heard amazing things about! Also i spied their cocktail(with gelato) menu and on weekends they are open til 11. I am there! Such a great place for desserts just 2 steps from the market, and also, there’s not enough independent great dessert places in London or the suburbs and this is such a welcome addition.

The hot chocolate kept catching my eye. The hot chocolate came with chocolate icecream in steamed milk. Wowee! We all know that the UK was slow on the uptake with chocolate ice cream, so when people actually started making the real stuff here, everything became a bit ‘let’s all eat chocolate icecream because it is so much better than it used to be’. And some of those Belgian chocolate ones were what we always knew chocolate ice cream should have been. Full review here
