Regarding the hotels you can find in London this place is nice. But the price is quite high for the kind is service they offers. The employees are great and they have a good breakfast. Plus the place is 5 minutes from the District Line and 2 minutes from bus stations.

Stayed here for four nights with the family for my brother’s graduation at Imperial. They were in the process of construction and building new rooms. We stayed in the two king bedroom studio which included a small kitchenette. Upon arriving, I was very satisfied with the conditions of the room — everything seemed to be brand new. However, things went a bit downhill from there. We had no idea how to use the stove/oven as the buttons were touch sensors with no labels and there were no clear instructions on how to do so. When we called the front desk about it, they sent someone up who also had no idea how to use it. And he spent about 20 minutes trying to figure it out with no success. He said he was going to retrieve the instruction manual for us but then never returned. We decided to go food shopping across the street for lunch and when we returned, I had to ask another person at the front desk for the manual. This other individual came upstairs with us and managed to figure out how to use it for us. Besides the kitchen incident, there were just an accumulation of small incidences that did not make my stay as comfortable as it should have been. We did not have any shower cream in the bathroom and when we called the front desk, they made us come down to get it instead of bringing it up to us. We also ran out of tissue rolls the first night and once again, I had to actively retrieve some myself. I feel like the receptionist and room service could use major improvement. Our cleaning lady was not very accommodating either. She failed to replace any of our coffee packets and one of the mornings, even actively opened the door to our room while we were still inside getting dressed and eating breakfast to ask us when we would be done so that she could come in to clean the room. I was so appalled! Overall, I was very satisfied with the conditions of the hotel — everything was new and in working condition. However, I feel that the staff needs major improvement if they want their guests to feel comfortable and welcomed.
