I don’t know how anyone can give this place anything less than 5 stars! Walked in completely oblivious to the yummy sweet treats and was completely blown away! I tried the nutella filled duffin and it was DIVINE! I would have more than one if I could. We were a group of 3 and the initial thought was to get one to share — not possible. we were too selfish and wanted one each. Also, one note to make is that the hot chocolate(which I didn’t try but my friend did) is made with excellent quality chocolate. If I only I can find myself in Farringdon more often. though it is probably best for my health that I don’t!

I’ve been coming to this branch since it first open. I’ve tried most of their cup cakes but I keep coming back to their vanilla peanut butter cupcake. It’s not usual to find a long line outside this small hole in the wall. It’s conveniently located just to the left of Farringdon tube station — the exit opposite the train station entrance. Morning punters buying a duffin and coffee to go — a duffin is a cross between a doughnut and a muffin and is sight to be hold. My favourite is the Nutella duffin, but that’s another review… What makes me come back her time and time again is not the cakes which are damn good or the Soya cappuccinos which must be made with Bonsoy milk — anything else is an affront — but the peanut butter cup cakes. Not the chocolate one but the Vanilla one. OMG. Words can’t describe how yummy this cup cake is. I will pass by every day just to check if they have it. I’m such a regular they put one a side for me. I know I have a addiction and I’m currently seeking help

After a bit of a bad afternoon, where everything went a bit wrong, I found myself walking up to Farringdon and like a beacon of happiness, Bea’s glinted in the distance, a short queue out the door promising it was a place worth waiting. I’ve had a duffin sundae from Stax before and it was pretty delicious, so I knew what I was getting today! They had 2 duffins on offer — a Nutella and a jam one, so I got one of each, and a peanut butter and jelly slice. About £8 for the lot, so not cheap but okay. It’s all delicious, and it’s lucky that I’m rarely outside here at Farringdon as I don’t know if my willpower would let me just walk by! They also had a lot of nice looking cupcakes, but they weren’t labelled and I couldn’t be bothered to ask the flavours. Next time, my preciouses.

I was reuniting with my middle school friend in London. We were looking for a place for coffee after lunch. She told me the cupcake from here was awesome. And it was. They also seemed to have good loafs and other desserts. The first floor of this place was small but there was an upstairs. Lots of people were there and they all seemed to enjoy what they had. Saw some one got a huge box full of cupcakes and I was very jealous!!!

Lovely little shop next to Farringdon station. The staff are really friendly. As this is a really small shop it gets busy. However if you can holdout you will be rewarded with a lovely coffee and if you succumb a stunning cupcake. They have outside seating perfect for a summers day of lazing around…

This Bea’s location has changed a lot since the other reviews were left! For starters, it’s now in a little corner shop by Farringdon tube station and not under any arches. It’s a tiny little nook of a place, and you cannot fit more than a few people inside at once, but it’s perfect for grabbing a coffee on your way into work in the morning. Oh yeah, it’s also open every weekday now and takeaway only. No weekend hours, but they serve Square Mile coffee and they know how to make a killer latte. Huge assortment of cakes and pastries on offer, and they’re running a winter special — £2.90 for a regular coffee and a cinnamon bun or duffin. Both are super tasty, and super off limits while I recover from the holidays. If you’re in the area, swing by! I’ve gone through two loyalty cards already and I’ve made solid progress on a third. I’ll be sad when my current job finishes — no more Bea’s for me!

My first experience at Bea’s was on July 4th for movie night. And the movie? Independence Day. I wasn’t sure what to expect. It’s just a bunch of fold out chairs in front of a screen underneath the Railroad tracks. It was kind of a cool idea, but unfortunately it’s a bit far to Trek, and I have a better set-up at home. What about the food? Well the chili dogs were great. The chili was super tasty. The mac and cheese was pretty terrible. Dry and not very nice at all. The popcorn was okay, but not as buttery as seem to be promised. The cupcakes were fantastic and the fried brownie was pretty good as well. It was just overall disappointing because when I booked the tickets there was promise of chile and cornbread and nachos as well, and sometime since the tickets were booked and the actual event the menu was paired down quite a bit. So overall a good time, the food was hit or miss, but there are some great cupcakes to be found. Moist and delicious. So while I may continue coming for their baked goods, I probably won’t be back for any movies.

This Bea’s location is only open on Saturday mornings — under one of the railway arches in the«Maltby Street Market» area — but on Druid St, not actually on Maltby St itself. Delicious american-style breakfast choices and great fruit smoothies. The buttermilk pancakes with maple streaky bacon are divine, if not a tiny bit pricey for the portion sizes.

Bea has opened up a market stall in the ever-growing, grassroots Maltby Street Market in Bermondsey. This pleases me immensely since I live 3 minutes away. What with the market’s cheese, coffee, doughnuts, beer and — now — Bea’s absolutelyfuckingdelicious Guinness chocolate cake with cream cheese frosting, Saturday will now be known colloquially as ‘Faturday’. Oh, and there are some quaint little blue tables and chairs outside at which to rest and consume copious amounts of baked goods.
