Love this place! Happy hour is 5 – 8 where all cocktails are 241, so getting a cocktail for £4.50 in London is incredible. You do have to get two of the same cocktails but that’s pretty much a standard so go withp a friend who has similar tastes to you if you’re splitting. The main issue I have with this place is how long it takes to get served, especially on a Friday and Saturday. This is to be expected, but its a shame that it takes 10 – 20 minutes to buy delicious drinks that you gulp in about a second! Its also extremely rammed and hard to get a seat so I just wish it was a bit bigger, but you can reserve seating for birthdays etc. There is also one bar staff member who is really fancy at making his cocktails which is always fun to watch. All in all, come here for cheap cocktails and a nice vibe but be prepared to wait if you’re going at peak time. I recommend the ice cream cocktails too!

A really great, reasonably priced cocktail bar. The cocktails are delicious although this place is a bit small I would still highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good vibe and good drinks. They generally play classic songs in here too which makes a pleasant change

When in Hammersmith late perhaps after visiting Apollo having have had some laughs and in mood for a cocktail or two before catching the tube I’d go not looking anywhere ells than this place. I know it is a chain and thus in many minds a bit of gamble but for the location it is the best you could do when in mood for cocktails. It is dark, its small and its loud but they do have pretty decent bartenders and pretty decent cocktails at pretty decent prices. And even better bang for the buck during happy hour or with«bartender’s choice» cocktail served all night. We were curious to find out whether this in London means the same as watered down but in two different occasions we’ll all agreed this was not the case.

Truly entertaining bunch of bar keeps back there! Music could use some revamping — sometimes it’s just too slow but everything else is fun!

You know what you’re getting from a B@1 bar, as there enough of them to have probably come across one before. Usually very good cocktails, and a fun atmosphere come the weekends and Thursday nights. Staff swing between good and terrible. It’s pot luck. But aren’t most bars? Convenient location for the tube so makes a good starting point for a night out — especially with that many cocktails to try during their 2−4−1 happy hours. Cue hangover.

I must have walked past this little blue door fifty times before realising it was a cocktail bar. But, discreet though it is, B@1 is easily the best place for a night out in Hammersmith. If this venue was anywhere else, I’d probably give it three stars, but if you find yourself in W6, this is definitely the place to go. This narrow, darkened bar, is pretty intimate(the three girls I bumped into while throwing drunken shapes probably wished it wasn’t so intimate!), there’s no division between seats and dance floor — it’s a bit of a free for all. The music is fun, 90’s and 00’s pop and indie music(the kind you’ll only admit to loving after a mojito or three) The cocktails are a tad pricey, but you get what you pay for, and what you pay for is a bloody awesome pricy cocktail. The tiny bar can whip you up a whole array of drinks — so don’t be scared to ask what for what you want. The crowd is friendly and up for fun so pay a visit the next time you visit the Apollo.

I perhaps should rate this 4*(as it’s in Hammersmith). This was a rather lovely & pleasant surprise. Post-Boat Race I with about six friends wandered in here. A mix of loud, crowdpleasing standards on the DJ booth. Friendly, quick, attentive service, unstuffy décor, no fussing about with much of anything, just staff & people having a nice time. There’s no «dance floor» to speak of, which is actually a plus. I wouldn’t *go* to Hammersmith, and I may not stop in again, but if I were passing by late at night I’d certainly pop in for a drink.

There are a couple of these around London and I’ve been to the ones in Clapham Junction and Covent Garden. They have an extensive bar and their cocktails are really cheap and really good. I tend to go for the On the Wagon, as I’m a bit of a lightweight, which is a lovely mix of strawberries, bananas and coconut and their mojitos pack quite a punch too. The music is played by the staff, they chose what goes on which makes it feel like a more local run place, I was actually surprised there was more than one, because of the casual way the staff act. This is a good thing, I always think they look they are having a good time, they always engage in conversation with the punters and they are just chilled out. Feels a bit like university, in the way the drinks are cheap and the music played is very cheesy but in a good way. Cheesy pop blasts out, but you’re so merry from all the feel-good drinks, you just sing along and laugh your head off. The point is, not to take B@1 too seriously and I don’t think they do either, which makes it a great place for drinks!

Hammersmith is not renowned for cool cocktail bars, more for noisy pubs playing loud music and being a bit dirty. It is therefore great to find such a sophisticated bar with quality bar staff mixing great cocktails aka Tgi Friday’s. Don’t get me wrong they aren’t dressed up in striped shirts and acting like Tom Cruise, they do there job well and clearly like working here. A small and narrow bar that makes up for it’s lack of space by being big on attitude and offering a great local hangout which is big on style. They serve the very best cocktails and if you go at the right time you can benefit from the happy hour and gorge yourself on the two for one offer. In house D. J playing great music, in a great atmosphere and with great service — need I say more.
