Babylon Supermarket

The scary smell is the first thing that always strikes me when I come here… unfamiliar food mixed with animal carcass. Hmmm, my favourite!
So, in fairness to Babylon, it is a well stocked supermarket — they really cram it in! Many, many unfamiliar foodstuffs of mind-​boggling origin, most of which may very well be in date, pack the shelves, but I can only ever remember buying water, chilli seeds and chewing gum in here. Oh, and emergency washing up liquid.
It is a fairly large store, so I guess some people must come here to shop. It’s just I’ve never seen anybody in here. I seem to remember it being a greeting card shop in it’s previous life. Oh and the other half was a greengrocer’s. But that was when a can of Coke used to cost 10p.
