Those who live to «do it yourself» you might just get a heart attack being overwhelmed with emotions by the sight of such a huge shop filled with tools and paints and brushes and plumbing and electrical equipment. In fact this would be your Disneyland. It is huge. You would need a few hours to browse through every thing here. Not all aisles will have someone to help you so if you have questions then you might have to walk about looking for a few salesman. Staff are friendly and helpful. I went here to buy kitchen drain unblocker and my oh my I was confused with the number of choices available. In the end I ended up picking one after doing some eeny meeny miny moe. But it was worth it. Clog cleared.

Omg I feel like tearing my hair out when I come in here. I can never find any staff to help me find anything & when I do eventually find someone, they are unable to help me & they go swarming of looking for someone else to help me & I’m standing waiting for them to come back but they don’t return. One day I just flipped, I ask to see manager & I ripped into him about the staff & the lack of knowledge they have with products in the shop. I won’t even step in here again.

I love this store. My hubby is a manager of one of the other b&q’s not saying which one! but we always come here if we want something specific, they have a vast array of products for example i had been into a few other stores to find just the right wall paper i wanted and as soon as i walked into this store it was right there in front of me! The staff are always friendly and as its quite a large store its never overly busy, never packed, so you never get too stressed when making purchases for your home, which can be quite a stressfull thing! Overall, a winner!

I had fun in here. I came in to buy lots of decorating stuff. Good things: Quite girl friendly. All of the little soft furnishings, lamps, and pretty coloured things are in one place. Great displays. Lots of stuff to choose from. it took me twenty minutes to buy a lampshade(and yes, then I did buy the first one I’d looked at.) Easy to buy lots of other things too buy accident. Oops. Friendly staff. Bad things: They had no carrier bags. I had to hobble home carrying all of my things. Which was a bit silly. Of course, they didn’t tell me they had none until I’d paid for it all, which I thought was a bit sneaky as I had to take it there and then. But as trips to a DIY store go, this one was quite successful.

as far as diy shops go, this is one of the better places– careful, you just might get lost! The sheer size of the place means they can fit most things into the shop– i’ve not gone in and come out with nothing, be it taps, or screws. B&Q have actually gotthe right idea, normally you would be bombarded by useless bits and pieces that you dont’t want, let alone find what you do want!, but B&Q do’nt do this– they simply stock the item you want, where you would expect to find it. sweet!
