One of those strange shops in Greenwich that are posh for no apparent reason. You don’t need to be all swanky in Greenwich, but some people still insist on doing it.
But Autumn and May is right in the middle of the market. It doens’t fit. It don’t get it anyway. All swanky and polished and staff that aren’t polite. The shop is often empty and I always feel like they’re looking down at me when I just want to browse.
It’s a little overpriced for what it is, but it’s expected in Greenwich. Some of the stuff is lovely in here, but there’s never anything truly special. I’m a huge fan of original jewellery. Stuff that has something different about it. I just don’t get that here.
I’ve never bought anything from here. I might look in the window, and occasionally I’ll pop in, but it’s not exactly a must-​see shop.
