I am sorry to read the below review, as I have used a number of times for a number of jobs from fixing my l;eaking roof to some internal; plumbing on my central heating system, and I have been completely satisfied every time. I find the staff on the phone are very friendly and helpful and every workman who has turned up has been on time, polite, clean and competent. On one occasion, there was a billing mistake, it was recified very swiftly and i was contacted a number of times to ensure that i was happy with resolution. I recommend them wholeheartidly and wioll continue to use them for all my maintenance needs.

Mixed bag from this company. Customer services representatives have no phone manners. ‘Project managers’ obviously don’t care about doing work after the deposit has been paid. I’m not sure what message this company is trying to send to its customers. They tried to reschedule a survey at my house 3 times. The first 2 times I complied but when they asked if it could be rescheduled a third time I told them I felt they were being extremely unprofessional. The rep on the phone was obviously biting her lip, became very short with me and didn’t apologise for the inconvenience despite the fact I’d told her I had taken 2 days off work already just to accommodate them. Very happy and efficient when any amount of money is being paid into their accounts but when it comes time to deliver, they’re nowhere to be found. I paid a deposit for roofing works and was given the contact details of the ‘project manager’ immediately. I waited for nearly a week for him to contact me before I emailed him to schedule the works myself. Another week and another week later I hadn’t heard from him. I then called customer services to see if they could help and was made to feel like an inconvenience. The representative on the phone did not offer an apology. Wish I had chosen a different company at this point. Eventually, after emailing the ‘project manager’ twice and receiving no replies, I chased up customer services again and was told I’d receive a call back from him to schedule works within an hour. No such call ever occurred. After not receiving any useful communication for 3 weeks, one morning one of their roofers randomly showed up at the door without prior communication. It was a day forecast for rain so no one in the house understood why he had come in the first place. He stayed for a while and then left when the rain persisted. The next morning, another rainy day, he returned but little work was done as a result of the weather. Finally on the third day, a clear day according to forecasts I was expecting him at 8am as promised but when he had failed to show up by 10am I was left calling customer services in a needless hunt to get someone to do the work I had paid for. I chose Aspect because some of their services are very efficient although they are never value for money. The basement cleanup/removal service is an hourly service and very efficient. I also once used their emergency plumbing services which was quick and easy but the bill was an eye watering amount. I won’t be using this company in the future. Too much of a hit and miss. Contractors can be a nightmare to deal with and I was under the impression that a large company like Aspect would be different. Unfortunately it seems not to be the case.
