Anna’s Thai Restaurant

Very very sad customer service!
Our order was £126 which to me is a very large order. First problem was the portion size of chips. It was a children’s size.
Secondly, they missed an order of fish as well as seafood dish and the fried rice came with egg when we specifically requested NO EGG!
When we called we were told how many times they checked the order. They were not at all apologetic about the mix up, they continued to tell us how many times the order was checked.
After explaining that numbers 90, 91 and the fried rice MUST be replaced, plus the chips, they finally complied but they were not happy.
The so-​called correct order arrived, guess what? It was still wrong. Number 91 was still missing the seafood, the fish arrived but no seafood.
Another call was made and they basically said TOO bad!
I’m very disgusted with companies such as this that are friendly when an order is placed but forget about customer service. Quick to take your money is what this place should be called!
To make matters worse, the food wasn’t the best. The deep fried shrimp was decent but the food was rather bland.
I’m positive that in CR2 there are far better places you can order from where the company knows what customer service is.
I’m thoroughly disgusted!!! NEVER AGAIN!

For thai food I come to this place. Great food. Portions are reasonable and the prices are reasonable too. Great ambience and lovely settings.

FANTASTIC! I love Thai food and my partner and I decided to try this place for first time. The service was brilliant, the décor beautiful and the overall quality feel made the restaurant superb. Our meal was so rich in flavour, absolutely delicious. All of our dishes came together and nice and hot. Fantastic value for money! It was a perfect meal and we would definitely recommend this beautiful tasty restaurant to others. Was even more surprised to see that they deliver. I can now get great food delivered home too. WOW superb!

Not sure which restaurant is being reviewed by previous reviewers, who are talking about a business in Harlington, UB3 5DS. nowhere near Croydon!!!
The one we went to is Anna’s Thai Restaurant, 235 – 241 High Street, Croydon, CR0 1QR. The food was excellent, service was good. All of us had eaten in Thailand and agreed that we would return to Anna’s. Excellent vakue for money.

I have been to both branches of Annas many times since she originally set up in the Whitgift Centre.
I have never had any complaints about the food or service, and they have catered with large parties (28 people) very well. My son is a caeliac (sorry can never get the spelling correct) and Anna has always bent over backwards to accomodate him. I haven’t seen Anna for about a year now, so I hope that she is okay.
She now only has the one restaurant in the High Street, and we will be returning next month for our anniversary.

My experience of Anna’s Thai Restaurant is slightly above average. Fresh ingrediants, great meat (quality and well cooked), variety on the menu and friendly staff. Overall most of the dishes lack something, be it skimping on the veg or lack or richness on spice which makes it average. The food here is not greasy, not cheap but not «wow».
